Jesus Whipping God’s Servants


I suspect Jesus fashioned a whip out of the Tefilin he was wearing on his arm, and beat the money changers with it as a reminder they are servants of God, and God can beat His slaves if they become slaves to other gods. This incident in itself highly suggests Jesus was a Pharisee, but, with my idea, it is almost certain. This beating had happened before, when the prophet (Son of God) Nehamiah drove Tobiah’s money-making scheme out of the temple. It is my belief Jesus was restoring the Jubilee, where Jews are set free,and forgiven of their debts, so the KINGDOM OF GOD would not decay and parish from the face of the Earth.

Many evangelicals are neo-Confederates who live in the Red States. They are hell-bent on destroying their old enemy, the Federal Government so they can create a New Kingdom of God – but they never say how they will do this. Well, God already maketh that kingdom, and the Republican Abolitionist Party, because God was an Abolitionist.

Inside the head Tefilin in are four scrolls that remind the Jews that God freed them from servitude in Egypt. God was the PERSONAL SAVIOR of every Jew, and those Gentiles who were converted to Judaism to escape the Slave Masters – and be free! How did this message escape the attention of our Founding Fathers that some claim were Patriots, but, were they truly loyal to the Word of God!!!!!

Additionally, Tobiah had established a close relationship with Eliashib the High Priest, whose grandson had married the daughter of Sanballat the Horonite, such that Eliashib leased the storerooms of the temple, intended to be filled with the Israelite’s grain offerings, incense, temple articles, and the tithes of grain, new wine and oil meant for the work of the temple and the temple workers themselves, so that Tobiah could conduct business in the newly constructed temple. Upon hearing this, Nehemiah, who was then in Babylon serving Artaxerxes II (as there was no work at the Temple during the reigns of Darius the Great, Ahasuerus (probably Xerxes), or Artaxerxes I,[8] ) requested permission to return to Judah. After returning, he promptly threw all of Tobiah’s belongings out of the temple room, purified the room, and put back all that had originally been there.[

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all of them who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

“Your sorrow will soon turn to Joy.”

In Luke 4.18-19 we read of the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in a Synagogue in Nazareth. He stands up to be recognized, the attendant hands him the Torah roll, specifically the roll of Isaiah, to read, and he seeks a particular, Messianic passage, Isaiah 61.1-2, Luke 4.18-19).

‘The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because God has anointed me to preach good news to the meek, he has sent me to bind up the broken of heart, to proclaim liberty to captives and to those who are prisoners, freedom, to proclaim the Jubilee year of the Lord and the day of God’s vengeance’.

The terms that Jesus was using in his discourse were those associated with Sabbatical Years, and with the Jubilee Year that was observed every fiftieth year. In this year all the debts of the poor were absolved, and slaves set free. Jubilee Years were not being celebrated by the Jews in the 1st century, yet the ordinary seven-year sabbatical cycle was very much in evidence among the Jews and Samaritans. The last time the Jubilee was celebrated was in 121 BCE.

I suspect Jesus was calling for the reinstatement of the Jubilee Year and thus the severe questioning from the Jews as to his authority to call for the freeing of slaves, the forgiveness of all debts by the poor who became slaves to fellow Jews in order to pay a debt, and, the non-payment of taxes during the Jubilee Year, which would get him in trouble with the Romans and the wealthy Sanhedrin who approved of Roman rule because it created a upper class, the very thing the Jubilee Year was designed to prevent from being permently established. The wealthy Jews who saw loss of revenue, and the return of lands to the poor tenants, tried to murder Jesus, who I suspect has produced Revelations, proclaiming himself the Alpha and Omega, the first and last days when God will have his vengeance and Judgement. The Jubilee Year began on the Day of Atonement.
Here is the proof that Jesus was preaching Orthodoxy

11And when the L-rd has brought you into the land of the Canaanites, as He swore to you and to your fathers, and has given it to you, 12you shall set apart for the L-rd every first issue of the womb: every male firstling that your cattle drop shall be the L-rds. 13But every firstling ass you shall redeem with a sheep; if you do not redeem it, you must break its neck. And you must redeem every first-born male among your children. 14And when, in time to come, your son asks you, saying, What does this mean? you shall say to him, It was with a mighty hand that the L-rd brought us out from Egypt, the house of bondage. 15When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the L-rd slew every first-born in the land of Egypt, the first-born of both man and beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the L-rd every first male issue of the womb, but redeem every first-born among my sons. 16And so it shall be as a sign upon your hand and as a symbol (Others: frontlet.) between your eyes with a mighty hand the L-rd freed us from Egypt.

1.The L-rd spoke further to Moses, saying, 2Consecrate to Me every first-born; man and beast, the first issue of every womb among the Israelites is Mine. 3And Moses said to the people, Remember this day, on which you went free from Egypt, the house of bondage, how the L-rd freed you from it with a mighty hand: no leavened bread shall be eaten. 4You go free on this day, in the month ( Or on the new moon.) of Abib. 5So, when the L-rd has brought you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall observe in this month the following practice: 6Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival of the L-rd. 7Throughout the seven days unleavened bread shall be eaten; no leavened bread shall be found with you, and no leaven shall be found in all your territory. 8And you shall explain to your son on that day, It is because of what the L-rd did for me when I went free from Egypt. 9And this shall serve you as a sign on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes in order that the Teaching of the L-rd may be in your mouth that with a mighty hand the L-rd freed you from Egypt. 10You shall keep this institution at its set time from year to year.
