Ministers interpreted the Bible in a way that would reinforce the ideals of those who had efforts to maintain and defend pro-slavery ideals; therefore, ministers influenced the development of the religious components of the pro-slavery ideology in the Antebellum South. I am composing a letter to Libby Schaaf that will address State Rights from the angle Mike Pence addressed in order to get a law passed to protect Freedom of Religion in Indiana. I believe Mayor Shaaf can declare the City of Oakland – a person – under the law that the Vice President of the United States promoted that protects corporations like Hobby Lobby from doing things that goes against their understanding of moral laws that were given to Moses by God. The laws governing aliens is at the core of both books of the Bible. Pence and his ilk, went far with the a few short verses that prohibits homosexuality. If God’s Laws come first, then how can alleged Men of God, protest?

I believe Libby can help define what is morally correct for her city using the Bible as a guide. Are States people too, in this regard? Sessions and Pence have already decided to mix Religion and State, with the help of Evangelical Leaders, who they take political advice from, as does the President of the United States. I hereby offer my religious expertise as a Biblical Scholar, and a Nazarite, to the Mayor of Oakland, the City I was born in!
I don’t think Libby is that well-versed in religion, and might only suspect there is a covert agenda to use illegal aliens to further the cause the Evangelicals who insist it is their right to be more political – with anyone they want! Wrong!

Indiana, unlike neighboring Illinois, does not have a state-wide anti-discrimination ordinance, and the majority of the state does not have local ordinances against discrimination against LGBT people. When a reporter asked Speaker of the House Brian Bosma whether it would be against the law for a business to put up a “no gays allowed” sign, he stated that “it would depend” on whether the business was in “a community that had a human rights ordinance.”[24][25]
In 2000, Pence stated “Congress should oppose any effort to recognize homosexual’s [sic][26] as a ‘discreet [sic] and insular minority’ entitled to the protection of anti-discrimination laws similar to those extended to women and ethnic minorities.” He called for “an audit to ensure that federal dollars were no longer being given to organizations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the HIV virus”.[27][28][29] He commented that homosexuals should not serve in the military, stating “Homosexuality is incompatible with military service because the presence of homosexuals in the ranks weakens unit cohesion” and in 2010 stated that repealing Don’t ask, don’t tell would “have an impact on unit cohesion.”[30] Pence opposed the 2009 Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act stating that Obama would “advance a radical social agenda”[31] and said that pastors “could be charged or be subject to intimidation for simply expressing a Biblical worldview on the issue of homosexual behavior.”[32]
