Rosemerthe of Sion-Vaudemont

I used to belong to a Knights Templar yahoogroups and discussed the goddess Rosmerte. Graham Hancock was a member. His Fingerprints of the Gods inspired Roland Emmerich who has a painting of a crucified Jesus over his fireplace wearing a T-shirt

The Crazy Crucifixion of Christine

Emmerich’s extensive collection of artwork includes a painting of Jesus Christ wearing a Katharine Hamnett-styled T-shirt during his crucifixion,

I consider the Manana Society to be America’s Priory de Sion. It is time to write a screenplay and get my Apocalyptic Vision on the silver screen. What’s with that rouge star and that rouge leader?

In 2009, Roland Emmerich released his blockbuster disaster movie 2012, citing Fingerprints of the Gods in the credits as an inspiration for the film,[20] stating: “I always wanted to do a biblical flood movie, but I never felt I had the hook. I first read about the Earth’s Crust Displacement Theory in Graham Hancock’s Fingerprints of the Gods.” [21] Also in 2009, author Geoff Stray released his best-selling book Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Awakening? in which he cites Graham Hancock as one of his inspirations and as a guidepost to point others to do their own investigation into the wonder of ancient societies.[22]

Roland Emmerich (German: [ˈʁoːlant ˈɛməʁɪç]; born November 10, 1955) is a German film director, screenwriter, and producer. His films, most of which are English-language Hollywood productions, have made more than $3 billion worldwide, including just over $1 billion in the United States, making him the country’s 14th-highest grossing director of all time.[1][2][3] He began his work in the film industry by directing the film The Noah’s Ark Principle (1984) as part of his university thesis and also co-founded Centropolis Entertainment in 1985 with his sister. He is a collector of art and an active campaigner for the LGBT community, and is openly gay.[4] He is also a campaigner for awareness of global warming and equal rights.

Emmerich owns homes in Los Angeles, New York City, London and Stuttgart.[6][32][34][35][36] He likes to decorate his homes in a self-described “outlandish” manner,[36] adorning them with rare Hollywood memorabilia, murals and portraits of dictators and Communist figures, and World War II-Militaria.[6][35]

Emmerich’s extensive collection of artwork includes a painting of Jesus Christ wearing a Katharine Hamnett-styled T-shirt during his crucifixion,[36] prints of Alison Jackson‘s works of a Princess Diana lookalike making obscene gestures and engaging in sex acts,[34][37] a wax sculpture of Pope John Paul II laughing as he reads his own obituary,[34][37] and a Photoshopped image of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a homoerotic pose.[36] Emmerich, who is openly gay,[4] and a financial supporter of U.S. progressive politics,[38] states that the decorations and pieces aren’t declarations of any beliefs,[36] but rather reflections of his “predilection for art with a political edge”.[37]

Acknowledging what he was told were flaws with Godzilla, Emmerich admitted he regretted having agreed to direct it. He stated that his lack of interest in the previous Godzilla movies, the short time he promised it would take for him to complete the film, and the studio’s refusal to screen it for test audiences were all factors that may have negatively affected the quality of the final product,[32]

Graham Hancock (/ˈhænkɒk/; born 2 August 1950) is a British writer and journalist. Hancock specialises in unconventional theories[1] involving ancient civilisations, stone monuments or megaliths, altered states of consciousness, ancient myths and astronomical/astrological data from the past. One of the main themes running through many of his books is a posited global connection with a “mother culture” from which he believes all ancient historical civilisations sprang.[2] His work has been rejected by scientists as an example of pseudoarchaeology.[1][3][4]

Hancock sees himself as a journalist who asks questions based upon observation and as someone who provides a counterbalance to what he perceives as the “unquestioned” acceptance and support given to orthodox views by the education system, the media, and by society at large.[5] Prior to 1990 his works dealt mainly with problems of economic and social development. Since 1990 his works have focused mainly on the possible connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena.

His books include Lords of Poverty, The Sign and the Seal, Fingerprints of the Gods, Keeper of Genesis (released in the US as Message of the Sphinx), The Mars Mystery, Heaven’s Mirror (with wife Santha Faiia), Underworld: The Mysterious Origins of Civilization, and Talisman: Sacred Cities, Secret

In Gallo-Roman religion, Rosmerta was a goddess of fertility and abundance, her attributes being those of plenty such as the cornucopia. Rosmerta is attested by statues, and by inscriptions. In Gaul she was often depicted with the Roman god Mercury as her consort, but is sometimes found independently.

A relief from Autun (ancient Augustodunum, the civitas capital of the Celtic Aedui), shows Rosmerta and Mercury seated together as a divine couple (see above). She holds a cornucopia, with Mercury holding a patera at her left side.

The Mañana Literary Society was an informal meeting of science fiction writers in Los Angeles, California. Hosted by Robert A. Heinlein and his first wife Leslyn at their Laurel Canyon home,[1] the membership included authors such as Anthony Boucher, Arthur K. Barnes, Edmond Hamilton, L. Ron Hubbard, Henry Kuttner, C.L. Moore, L. Sprague de Camp, Cleve Cartmill, Leigh Brackett, and Jack Williamson. The meetings took place in 1940 and 1941, until the Pearl Harbor attack resulting in the U.S. entering World War II.[2]
