Trump Puts Target On Greene’s Back

“Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!) is working overtime to try and portray herself as a victim when, in actuality, she is the cause of all of her own problems,” Trump wrote in a post.

To title Rep. Greene a “TRAITOR” will guarantee Trump’s ballroom will never be built, and if it is, it will be a TARGET? So suggests Rep Steve Cohen. History will not be on Trump’s side.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) said President Trump’s White House ballroom should be torn down if Democrats regain the Oval Office in 2028.

“I don’t think it would be a bad idea to tear it down,” Cohen told NBC News in an interview published Friday.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who was once one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters, said Saturday that she’s facing threats after the president criticized her on social media.

“I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected,” Greene wrote on X on Saturday.

Trump rejects Greene’s safety concerns, doubles down on ‘traitor’ label

President Trump rejected Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) concerns for her own safety on Sunday evening amid their ongoing feud over releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Speaking to reporters on the tarmac before leaving Palm Beach, Fla., Trump doubled down on calling the staunch MAGA supporter a “traitor” when asked about Greene saying her life could be in danger over Trump’s targeted rhetoric.

“Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene,” Trump said, purporting to correct a reporter when she used the congresswoman’s real name.

“I don’t think her life is in danger,” Trump continued. “I don’t think — frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.”

A few hours later, in a post on Truth Social, the president once again labeled the Georgia Republican a traitor.

“Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!) is working overtime to try and portray herself as a victim when, in actuality, she is the cause of all of her own problems,” Trump wrote in a post.

“The fact is, nobody cares about this Traitor to our Country!” he continued.

Shortly before Trump spoke to reporters on the tarmac, Greene said on the social platform X that the “hoax pizza deliveries have started now, to my house and family members,” noting that her family’s construction company also received a pipe bomb threat.

“President Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family,” she wrote on X.

The congresswoman defended herself against Trump calling hera “traitor,” saying it’s “absolutely untrue and horrific” and “puts blood in the water and creates a feeding frenzy. And it could ultimately lead to a harmful or even deadly outcome.”

“I am not a traitor,” Greene wrote. “However, when the President of the United States irresponsibly calls a Member of Congress of his own party, traitor, he is signaling what must be done to a traitor.”

“I fought harder than anyone to help President Trump get elected and I support his administration and the promises we made on the campaign,” she wrote.

“My voting record is one of the most conservative voting records in Congress and I’m very proud of that. The toxic and dangerous rhetoric in politics must end and we need healing in this country for all Americans,” she added.

Greene has continued to insist she supports most of the president’s agenda, even as she has grown increasingly critical in recent weeks of his reluctance to support the full release of the files related to Epstein, a convicted sex offender accused of trafficking girls.

The House is expected to vote this week on a measure forcing the Department of Justice to release its files on Epstein’s alleged crimes and cooperators.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who introduced a discharge petitions forcing the vote, predicted dozens of Republicans would vote for it on the floor.

Pressure grew on Trump last week after the release by Democrats of more emails, including one written by Epstein that said Trump “knew about the girls.”

Minutes before his Truth Social post attacking Greene Sunday night, Trump reversed course on the Epstein files, telling House Republicans they “should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party.”

However, Massie warned over the weekend that new Justice Department probes into Epstein’s alleged links to Democrats could be used to block the release of some related files even after the vote in Congress.
