Win or lose, it is my story to write about the rise and fall of Kamala Harris. We were born in Oakland. I will attempt to answer the question I tackle, that I address, all through this blog…..
WHY WOULD WHITE CHRISTIAN REPUBLICAN WOMEN VOTE FOR TRUMP?
:Let us assume that three million white women voted for Trump in order to hurry the return of Jesus to be King of America – and the World! If these women did not vote, would that have spelled a victory for a woman born of a Black Man and an Indian Woman? Now for the next question….
WHY DID A MILLION BLACK MEN VOTE FOR TRUMP – AT LEAST?
The worst story known to Humankind is already written in this blog. With the defeat of Kamala Harris, the best story known to Humankind – will not be written! If Kamala had won, then I could make the Joyous Image of Prosecutor Kamala rushing into the Presco Family Hone – and arresting Big Bones Remmer and his wife, as my mother introduced is to the Gangster Rosemary made porno movies for a Mafia who ran Cal-Nevada Casino in partnership with Frank Sinatra. and others mobsters.
Then Kamala and the Oakland Cops would take us to another squad car outside wherein sit our father, Victor William Presco.
“Do you know this guy?”
“Yes! That’s our father!”
“He has something to give you! Tell them Mr. Presco!”
“Here’s $400 dollars for past Child Support. There will be regular payments from now onw, thanks to this piece of trash Coakley hired. I do not want to give you kids anything, because your showed more loyal to your mother, than me!”
I just saw on the news ten billionaires made sixty-two billion dollars after Trump Triumphed. These ten want to do away with all restrictions and the Social Safety Net, because the poor and homeless have always stood in the way, because…..Jesus and the Abolitionist God of the Jews championed the Underdog, even the “Alien amongst us!”
Last night I watched Godfather 2, and went into a trance when I saw the shots of Lake Tahoe. How did I miss the connection for so long.
The Power is being dealt out behind closed doors. If white Christian women think they will have any power and control over the Republican Godfather, they better go for it now by passing a petition wherein three million Christians bid Donald Trump to show restraint, and show mercy towards….The Enemies of Jesus! Good luck! Christianity has already lost 66% of it’s power.
I will not spend much time telling you what is coming, because it is, here! And it will speak for itself. The Inquisition will look like a cakewalk. I can tell you this, however….
I AM THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR…..THE ENEMY WITHIN!
I will use the photograph of me that I took at the Cowboy Church in Junction City. My elderly neighbor begged me to go with her for years. She wanted to read her poem ‘Richly’ but did not get a chance. When we cane home, that night, she read her poem to mem by the garage light in the ally where we live. I will not give the name of my late friend, or the real name of the place where I live, that I call McGoofy Meadows in a book, or series I started called….’Garden Plots’. I have been considered a candidate for the ultimate ‘Enemy Within’,,,,who would be the Antichrist. Would the old White Republican Woman above vote for Trump? Yes- if she believed – lkke a million Christians believe – that Trump is the Antichrist! Then there is….Prosperity Gospel.
Count the White Women you see in this scene, I am going to try to put my pic in the blackened area.

Even though it’s far from the New Jersey stomping grounds of “The Sopranos,” Lake Tahoe has its own connections to the Mafia – from the fictional “Godfather” series to the bigger-than-life persona of Frank Sinatra.
Most of the ties are now historical: Sinatra has passed away and the Homewood estate where the beginning scenes of “Godfather II” were filmed has mostly been demolished and replaced by multi-million dollar houses and duplexes.
Notably, exit polls show that while only 7% of Black women voted for President-elect Donald Trump, the former President secured 21% of the Black male vote.
Democrats ignored the frustrations of Black men
During the Democratic National Convention in August, I wrote about the party’s clear attempt to capture new voters, which I believed came at the expense of groups that have exhibited historical support. I mentioned Black men, specifically, because I was already hearing grumbling from this group that had long felt like a political afterthought.

I wrote about Black male employment and the truth that rippled through Trump’s “Black jobs” comment — the truth that Black men tend to stick to the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder, disproportionately affected by unemployment but also low-wage positions. Black men are also legitimately less employable, given lower college enrollment and graduation rates.
The Fremonts First to Emancipate Slaves
Posted on May 2, 2017 by Royal Rosamond Press

John Fremont, and his wife, Jessie Benton-Fremont, were the first to emancipate black slaves in America. If Andrew Jackson was alive when the Fremonts and the Forty-Eighters were calling for the Freedom of all Peoples, then, he would have to deal with Senator Thomas Benton’s daughter – then her husband! Freedom is a family affair. These brave souls became my kindred, when Christine Rosamond Presco, married Garth Benton, two well known artists. Jessie and her sister held famous Salons.

Trump’s “enemies within” list

Donald Trump has been radically transparent in his pledge to use — and abuse — the power of the presidency to seek retribution against Americans he believes have wronged him.
Why it matters: The final weeks of the election have been consumed by Trump’s bellicose vows to crush “the enemy from within” — language that critics, including some of his own former advisers, say is fascist.
- The former president’s vague, haphazard speaking style has triggered fierce debate over who specifically falls into that “enemies” group, especially after he floated using the U.S. military against “radical left lunatics.”
- He may not keep an official list, but a review of Trump’s public remarks reveals a vast catalog of perceived enemies whom he has marked for imprisonment, prosecution or other punishment.
Political opponents
President Biden: Shortly after his indictment by special counsel Jack Smith last year, Trump threatened to appoint a “real” special prosecutor to “go after” Biden and his family.
Vice President Harris: At a rally in Pennsylvania in September, Trump called for his opponent in the presidential race to be “impeached and prosecuted” for the Biden administration’s handling of the border.
Former President Obama: On Truth Social, Trump has reposted multiple calls for Obama to be arrested and face “military tribunals.”
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi: Trump has specifically labeled Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) “enemies from within,” and called last month for Pelosi and her husband to be prosecuted for alleged insider trading.
Former Rep. Liz Cheney: “She should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Trump posted in May, referring to Cheney’s “treasonous” leadership of the House Jan. 6 select committee.
- On Thursday, calling Cheney a “radical war hawk,” Trump told Tucker Carlson: Let’s put her with the rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it — you know, when the guns are trained on her face.”
Retired Gen. Mark Milley: Trump suggested last year that the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — who has since called Trump “fascist to the core” — deserved to be executed for back-channeling with Chinese generals.
Media and Big Tech
ABC: After being repeatedly fact-checked in his September debate with Harris, Trump demanded that the Federal Communications Commission revoke ABC’s broadcasting license.
CBS: Trump called for CBS to lose its license and for “60 Minutes” to be “immediately taken off the air” after accusing the program of deceptively editing an interview with Harris. He sued the network over this on Thursday.
NBC: Trump called last year for NBC parent company Comcast to be investigated for treason because of its coverage of his legal troubles. He promised that NBC would be “thoroughly scrutinized for their knowingly dishonest and corrupt coverage” if he’s elected.
Google: After baselessly accusing the search giant of “only revealing and displaying bad stories” about him, Trump declared on Truth Social: “I will request their prosecution, at the maximum levels, when I win the Election.”
Mark Zuckerberg: In his new “Save America” coffee table book, Trump accuses the Meta CEO of meddling in the 2020 election and writes: “We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison.”
Private citizens
Election workers: As he lays the groundwork to again claim voter fraud if he loses, Trump recently delivered a wide-ranging threat to imprison “Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials” who engage in “unscrupulous behavior.”
Election protesters: Trump has suggested deploying the National Guard or even the U.S. military against “radical left lunatics” who cause chaos around the election.
Pro-Palestinian protesters: Trump has told donors he will crush pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses and deport “pro-Hamas radicals,” despite the fact that many protesters are U.S. citizens. He has consistently called for jail time for people who burn the American flag.
Supreme Court critics: “These people should be put in jail the way they talk about our judges and our justices, trying to get them to sway their vote, sway their decision,” Trump said at a rally in September.
Prosecutors and bureaucrats
Trump’s desire for revenge burns hot for anyone involved in his four criminal cases and the litany of investigations he has faced over the last eight years, which he paints as one continuous “witch hunt.”
- He has called for the prosecution of former FBI and DOJ officials who carried out the Russia investigation, U.S. intelligence officials, special counsel Jack Smith, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, New York Attorney General Letitia James and many others.
- That’s not to mention his long-running plans to gut the federal bureaucracy — home of the reviled “Deep State” — and replace civil servants with Trump loyalists.
- “Fire every single midlevel bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with our people,” Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, proposed on a podcast in 2021.
The big picture: The above list is not comprehensive. An NPR analysis found Trump has made more than 100 threats since 2022 to go after his perceived enemies.
- His incendiary claims that domestic enemies pose a greater threat than foreign adversaries have become a central component of the Harris campaign’s closing argument.
- “Trump has an enemies list. I have a to-do list,” Harris has repeated at rallies and on social media in recent days.
The bottom line: Trump’s allies say his threats are largely bluster. His critics say the country can’t afford not to believe him.
Elmer ‘Bones’ Remmer: San Francisco’s gambling czar
- By Paul Drexler
- Nov 20, 2016 Updated Jun 16, 2022

Anyone who believes that fat people are jolly never met Elmer “Bones” Remmer, San Francisco’s gambling czar. Casino owner Warren Nelson, who worked for Remmer, described Bones as “the meanest, crudest guy who ever lived.” For a man like this, a name like Elmer doesn’t seem to fit. The name Bones, however, seemed oddly appropriate for Remmer, who weighed more than 300 pounds.
In 1929, Remmer was hired to manage Lake Tahoe’s Cal Neva Lodge, one of Nevada’s oldest casinos by owners Bill Graham and Jim McKay. The next year, Remmer made headlines when he tried, unsuccessfully, to collect a $13,000 blackjack debt run up by actress Clara Bow.
Bones was a large, tough man with an appetite for both power and food. As time passed, both his waistline and his ownership in the Lodge increased. In 1937, when Graham and McKay were sent to jail for mail fraud, he took over the club.

The Cal Neva Lodge had a profitable sideline laundering money for racketeers and bank robbers. Remmer cleaned “hot” bank robbery money for desperados like Alvin Karpis and “Baby Face” Nelson. Remmer let Nelson hide out in cabins near the lodge and introduced him to California bootleggers, who the hired Baby Face to protect their liquor shipments. Nelson returned the favor by getting rid of an important witness against Graham and McKay.
By this time, Remmer had a well-earned reputation for collecting gambling debts. “Listen,” he told a reluctant debtor at his Tahoe casino, “it’s a big lake and it ain’t full yet, if you know what I mean. You’re going to pay this off, and I mean now!”
He got his money.
In the 1940s, Remmer expanded his operations into Northern California, running the 21 Club in El Cerrito, the Oaks Club in Emeryville, the 110 Eddy and the Menlo clubs in San Francisco. He had numerous fronts for his gambling operations. You couldn’t get a cigar at Remmer’s B&R Smokeshop at 50 Mason St., but you could always make a bet on the horses.
An oversized man with a personality to match, Bones became a well-known San Francisco character. Legendary gamblers like Nick the Greek and Ty Thompson — the inspiration for Damon Runyon’s Sky Masterson — played for high stakes at the Menlo Club. Jack Ruby, Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassin, also worked at the club in the 1940s along with his sisters Eva and Ruby, who were card dealers.

Money poured in to the Remmer coffers. But as the Bob Dylan song says, “You’ve got to serve somebody.” For Remmer, it was definitely not the lord — it was organized crime. Much of his gambling profits went to higher-ups: gangsters like Bugsy Siegel, John Roselli and San Francisco mafia boss Jimmy Lanza.
Remmer spread his largesse liberally among state and local politicians. Local police and district attorneys usually overlooked his activities in their town. Remmer also gave $170,000 in campaign contributions to California Attorney General Fred Howser to look the other way. So he was irked in April 1948 when Pat Brown, San Francisco’s DA, raided the Menlo Club and arrested 100 gamblers and 14 club employees. After two trials, which ended in hung juries, Remmer went free.
In 1950, Remmer, along with St. Louis bookie Tommy Walen and Hollywood actress Vici Raaf, was arrested in Los Angeles after a nightclub brawl. Bones was subpoenaed to testify about gambling by the Kefauver Senate Crime commission, but he managed to hide in Mexico until the hearings were over.
Although Remmer was able to beat local gambling charges, he could not avoid one of the two certainties in life: taxes. The IRS seized his assets and charged him with tax evasion. In 1952, he was convicted of evading more than $128,000 in taxes.
He won a new trial on appeal but was convicted again in 1956 and served two-and-a-half years. In 1959, the government sold Remmer’s assets, collecting $863,000 in fines and taxes.
Bones spent his last days bemoaning his losses, reminiscing about the good old days and selling cars on his brother’s car lot. In 1963, he died at the age of 65.

ACLU Responds to Election of Donald Trump

New York, NY 10004
United States
WASHINGTON — Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), had the following reaction to The Associated Press’ call of the 2024 presidential election for Donald Trump:
“While Donald Trump may have been democratically reelected, a second Trump Administration represents a clear and present danger to our democratic norms, processes, and institutions. Fortunately, our nation is stronger than one man or political party — no matter how dogged they are in attacking our democracy.
“At the ACLU, we’re clear-eyed about the chaos and destruction a second Trump administration will cause to our nation. That’s why we’re done with handwringing, admiring the problem, or waiting anxiously to see which unlawful action President-elect Trump will take on Day One. We are ready to take action the minute Trump takes the oath of office.
“President-elect Trump will keep his promise to target the ‘enemy within’ — which, for Trump, means anyone who disagrees with him. He is dead serious about seeking retribution against his political opponents and deploying federal law enforcement to shut down protests and muzzle dissent. However, as the premier defender of freedom of speech and freedom of association, the ACLU has a 105-year track record of fighting such abuses of power.
“President-elect Trump has also been crystal clear about his plans to deport one million immigrants every year. Yet, past attempts at immigration raids have shown there is no way to deport one million immigrants without violating due process and engaging in racial discrimination.
“Earlier this year, the ACLU developed a roadmap to defend our rights beginning on Inauguration Day. When President Trump targets immigrants, dissidents, and his political opponents — we will challenge him in the courts, at the state legislatures, and in the streets.
“Fortunately, the ACLU is not new to this. We filed 434 legal actions against the first Trump administration, often winning landmark cases before Trump-appointed judges.
“One week into Trump’s presidency, we were the first organization to challenge his Muslim ban. And when the administration sought to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census, the ACLU took that fight to the Supreme Court and won. Our litigation also stopped the inhumane practice of separating immigrant families.
“Throughout the first Trump administration, the ACLU consistently mobilized hundreds of thousands of people who voiced their opposition to Trump’s policies. And during the next Trump administration, we will work through our ACLU affiliates to build firewalls that safeguard rights and liberties in states across the nation.
“At the ACLU, we play the long game. We’ve been around for 105 years. We’ve seen 19 presidents come and go. Once again, we will deploy our millions of activists and card-carrying members — alongside our 2,200 staff spanning every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico — to ensure that erosions of civil rights or civil liberties will be hard-fought and hotly contested.”
