Very rarely do I come upon the suicide or murder in a family of interest. Edward Wynne is the great grandson of Simon Meze who secured the Arguello land grant of 34,000 acres – that included Belmont where the Meze family had a home – in back of Ralston house! They had to know about the Janke graves under the giant bay tree, and that my ancestors secured this memorial, for perpetuity. Did a Meze help do this – legally?
Edward’s death is suspicious. Did he phone his friends to tell him he was going to kill himself? If so, this friend hand to know – why Edward would kill himself. Was Edward severely mentally ill, and his friend was trying to talk him into committing himself? What was driving him……..crazy? Maybe…..
HE KNEW TOO MUCH?

Irish: in Ireland this is usually the Welsh name, but in Connacht it was adopted for Gaelic Ó Gaoithin ‘descendant of Gaoithín’ (see Gahan ), because Gaelic gaoth also means ‘wind’, and the English surname Wynne was taken as being related to the English vocabulary word wind.MORE
