“From noon until three…..”

“From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land.

Josephus says the War of the Jews began over a schism between factions of the Levites. It appears Jesus settles the argument when he died on the cross – and the dead rose from the ground! But, they were not dead, they were just sleeping, because this is Korah and his family that were swallowed up – alive! Jesus has released them – by dying for THEIR SIN that angered God.

I forgot I wrote about this in my Bond book ‘The Royal Janitor. I reposted it in regards to the New Exodus in my last post. It is more than ironic this solution to an ancient riddle appear the day after the Ring of Fire Eclipse. Is this a True Sign From God, that the God of the Jews wants the Jews – to leave the Promised Land. – for the sake of world peace?

I suspect Jesus demanded the Land of the Kohathites be returned to them when he reads from the Torah – and thus they tried to kill him. I suspect John the Baptist was born to fulfil this – mission – and was beheaded. His disciple, Jesus – picked up the gauntlet.

On this, I John Gregory Presco, take hold of the sacred cup of the Korah, and….drink!

It is – done!

I summon the Knight Templars of The Holy Ark!

The Torah ascribes a specific religious function to the Kohathites, namely care of the vessels and objects within the sanctuary: the Ark of the CovenantMenorahTable of Shewbread.[2]

According to the Book of Joshua, rather than possessing a continuous territory, the Kohathites possessed several cities scattered throughout the geographic region in the Kingdom of Israel south of the Jezreel Valley, and in the region north of the Galilee, the latter being an extremely large distance apart from the former:[3]

The disputed territory was assigned to an individual or tribe, before any conquest was undertaken (e.g., Caleb’s inheritance in Joshua 14). A major theme of the book of Judges is that the disorder portrayed in the book is a direct consequence of Israel lacking the will to finish the job of conquest, allowing their enemies to dwell in their midst.

As soon as he finished saying all this, the ground under them split apart 32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households, and all those associated with Korah, together with their possessions. 33 They went down alive into the realm of the dead, with everything they owned; the earth closed over them, and they perished and were gone from the community.

The Death of Jesus

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[c] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[d]

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph,[f] and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

Chapter: The Rose of Crimean California

Victoria and Miriam watched Putin’s speech on Professor John’s big T.V. screen.

“What the hell does that lunatic want?” asked John. “He took the Crimea and got away with it. Was he afraid the Ukrainians would take it back?”

“I haven’t a clue!” Victoria said, it not every day she is stumped. It was the anniversary of the Ukraine War, and the whole world was puzzled, especially China who was forced to take a side.

“I think I may know.” Offered Miriam Starfish. “My father grew up in the Crimea. The Jews that lived there believed they have been living in the peninsula since ancient times. They were divided into two communities: the Krymchaks, who followed rabbinical Judaism, and the Karaites, who rejected the Oral Torah. Soon after Catherine the Great conquered the region from the Ottoman Empire in 1783, she opened it up to Jewish settlement, hoping that the Jews would serve as a bulwark against the Turks. Although Jews were later barred from living in the major cities, the peninsula promised open spaces and freedom to adventurous Jews seeking new frontiers and willing to take up a spade.Later, Stalin approved of a Jewish State, the Crimean California. My parents were trying to form a Karaite community near Mount Shasta. But everyone hated them because oof their theory.

“And, what pray tell theory was that?” John, spat, he wanting to get into a sound intellectual debate with his tormentor, who now sounded grounded.

“They believed Jesus raised the Karahites from their graves after he died on the cross – for their sins – that angered Yahwew. When he rose from the dead, he took them on a ship to the Crimea, that he declared was the New Judea.”

John Von John’s jaw dropped. He had long puzzled over this passage in Matthew.

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[a] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

John felt a chill come over him as he stared deep into Miriam’s eye while reciting this passage in Numbers. It was a marriage. Long lost knowledge, had been wed. How were they seperated?

31 As soon as he finished saying all this, the ground under them split apart 32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households, and all those associated with Korah, together with their possessions. 33 They went down alive into the realm of the dead, with everything they owned; the earth closed over them, and they perished and were gone from the community.

“OF COURSE! This is why the curtain was torn in two – AND RUINED! The God wanted to hang the curtain of the Karahites over the entrance of the Holy of Holies. THEY HAVE BEEN RESTORED!”

To be continued!

Today is February 24, 2023. I awoke around 2:30 A.M. and could not go back to sleep. I got on my computer, and found “Crimea California. Reading about the Levites. I read Numbers 16:31-33. A mouse appear in mousehole I have been staring at for thirty-five years.

The Kohathites were one of the four main divisions among the Levites in biblical times, the other three being the Gershonites, the Merarites, and the Aaronites (more commonly known as Kohanim). The Bible claims that the Kohathites were all descended from the eponymous Kohath, a son of Levi.[1]

Overview[edit]

The Torah ascribes a specific religious function to the Kohathites, namely care of the vessels and objects within the sanctuary: the Ark of the CovenantMenorahTable of Shewbread.[2]

According to the Book of Joshua, rather than possessing a continuous territory, the Kohathites possessed several cities scattered throughout the geographic region in the Kingdom of Israel south of the Jezreel Valley, and in the region north of the Galilee, the latter being an extremely large distance apart from the former:[3]

The narrative in Joshua assigns the territories to the Levites right after Joshua‘s conquest of Canaan, but some scholars believe this cannot be correct, as it is contradicted by archaeological evidence, as well as by other narratives in the Book of Judges, the Books of Samuel, and the Books of Kings;[3][4] Gezer, for example, is portrayed in the narrative of the Book of Kings as only coming into the possession of the Levites during the reign of Solomon,[5] and archaeological excavation of the site has shown that shortly prior to the Babylonian captivity it was still the site of a large temple to the Canaanite deity Astarte. However, a closer reading of the book of Judges reveals that the Canaanite peoples conquered by the invading Israelite tribes were often not completely subdued. The disputed territory was assigned to an individual or tribe, before any conquest was undertaken (e.g., Caleb’s inheritance in Joshua 14). A major theme of the book of Judges is that the disorder portrayed in the book is a direct consequence of Israel lacking the will to finish the job of conquest, allowing their enemies to dwell in their midst.[6]
