Yesterday I authored a lengthy Memorial Day message with Bryan Arnold as the central theme. But, after seeing the 60 Minute segment on Native Americans of Canada being abused and thrown in un-marked graves, I am going to save Bryan’s offer to be my father for my biography.
I forgot about this post. I have done the impossible, run a newspaper, with books and bios thrown in. The assignment God has put before me – is astronomical! The German Reconciliation, and the racist conquest of Native Americans – may never go down well with the American Public. Today most will have a Q, and be tempted to salute a flag. Meanwhile, I’ve got to prove I saw God – and He restored my life! If you’re a Christian – you have to admit God got us into all these wars! It was – HIS WILL? So, it is God WE HONOR this day? What about the cosmology of the Natives – who were here first? We took their land. Then we tortured them. One Christian bulldozed headstones in order to destroy the Final Identity – God gives us all before we enter – HIS KINGDOM? Is this – a real and honest offer? There is no culture war. We want PROOF! We demand – THE TRUTH! Put up – or shut up!
EXTRA! It is 12:50 P.M. Memorial Day. Ten minutes ago I read that Lieutenant Colonel Bryan Caufield Arnold was the Commander of the Schofield Barracks that Japanese War Planers put a bullseye on in Japan. Arnold didn’t know he was a target of a powerful military target. Did he order his troops to return fire – with rifles? How many times have we seen that scene? Now, here is the man who put the enemy in his crosshairs at the beginning of the war for the United States of America1.
“Return fire!”

Soon after, Captain Arnold transferred to the Air Transport Command, where he was assigned as intelligence officer and adjutant of the 18th Transport Group in Amberly, Australia

“And now…..designed for war!”
And now…. for the story of Bill…the impossible story…that can’t be written. It is too profound, too – fucking insane! The wise men and their muses that cranked out those ancient Greek tragedies, stir, from their un-Christian-like slumber, in the shadows of the pillars, cradled in the lap of Diana, laying like drunken Dionysus bitches …waiting for the second coming of – a true tragedy!
Only after I heard Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, spat in the face of the director of Suddenly Last Summer, did I get a glimpse of that Brilliant America that blossomed after the impossible victory over Japan and Nazi Germany. And, here he come, crawling, retired Lieutenant Bryan C. Arnold in his long johns, crawling along the floor of the Arnold living room, as Bill and I watched the Twilight Zone? Perhaps it was the Ernie Kovacs…
