History Hangs In The Balance

I told Ed Ray and his band of Historians that removing the name of Senator Thomas Hart Benton from Benton Hall, was not on par with removing a Confederated Statue. Benton was not a Confederate. His son-in-law co-founded the Abolitionist Republican Party and was the first Presidential candidate. This Family History is a Hallmark and Monument to Change for the Betterment of All Mankind. Several Presidents deployed our troops overseas, FORTFIED with these Changes, for the sake of our Civil Liberties, in order to fight evil tyrants who were hell bent on making slaves of everyone who opposed them, or were seen as THE ENEMY!
