The Return of Lara

This poem is titled ‘Littekin’ meaning ‘Scar’. What a great word. Starfish calls Victoria ‘Scar’ when she is deep in pathos.

Away from the danger, 
above the flames
but stay in the smoke
where a scar forms
a scar that brings more pain
then the pain of the wound.
