After Cheryl sent down Sue to clean up after the bamboo tree, and went up and thanked her. We had a good talk. I learned her mother died on Sunday. I liked Bonnie Mae. I told Cheryl my aunt was Bertha Mae, and we called her Bonnie. I then saw Steven with his son. This was his first day of school. I went and talked to the mother. Then, I saw Tito. We talked on the grass. He lives in the appartment LaGarrette Blount lived in.
Then I called Sandy who has lived here seventeen years. She was at Alberta’s who used to live here. The three of us used to play cards every Wednesday in our rec room no one uses. She still wants me to be buried next to her. She is ninety-six. Later I called Jeanie. She had been here for fifteen years. She is part of the circle of friends that includes the Galls. That makes eight people.
Brembe is still AWOL. He was such a copycat. Everything I did, he wanted to do. Seeing I spent so much time at my computer, he wanted to be in the center of the action. He saw me using a stick-thing to make notes, and, was pleased with himself when he moved it across the paper like I did. I had to stop him from walking on the keyboard. Brembe’s message for today is;
“Say hello while you can. Be good to one another.”
