A Mass Eastern Migration

I suggest Democrats who are retired, and about to retire, move into Red States and turn them blue. The Democrats in California have a surplus of voters who may be interested in a Relocation Cure to the rise of the South and the Christian-right. We can take Alaska! If the South follows suit, they will lose voters in the southern red states.

I will discuss the religious aspects of the Louisiana Purchase. Did our Freedom of Religion extend into this new territory?

Was he personally religious? No.

Napoleon reconciled the Catholic Church and the French state. However, he only used Catholicism in order to legitimize his rule and consolidate his power.

He was very cynical and critical of religion. At times he expressed extreme doubt, stating that he didn’t believe in the existence of Jesus Christ. Other times, he praised him openly.

In his last will and testament, Napoleon died as a follower of the Roman Catholic Church, receiving the last rites.

I think that Napoleon was indifferent to religion. He was never devout, and acted in a hostile manner towards the Church at times.
