For the last four hours I have considering shutting down this blog, my newspaper, and concentrating on my art. I went shopping at Walmart to talk this over with my people. If Truman Capote was alive, he would be on a train to Maryland and authoring a book on Jarod Ramos. He would bring his childhood friend Harper Lee who wrote one of the greatest stories of all time ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’. Capote’s ‘In Cold Blood’ is the second best selling Fact Crime book after ‘Helter Skelter’ which is the plan Charlie Manson came up with to start a race war between blacks and whites.
Today, Manson disciple, Leslie Van Houten, was denied parol. She stabbed Rosemary LaBianca in the back 14 times and used her blood to write messages on the wall and refrigerator. There is evidence Alley Valkyrie and John Monroe were politically motivated when they launched a vile Character Assasination against me aimed at destroying my reputation and this newspaper. As hard as it is for me to accept, this is what Belle Burch wanted, and ordered up. Her motive was her belief that I was out to destroy her reputation. My mother, Rosemary, and our destructive family dynamics, was brought into what I title ‘The Beautiful Beast’. What is the nature of this Beast?
While standing in line at Walmart, I looked at the tabloids. I was not sad to read the Kim Kardashion is breaking up with Kyle, because, it probably a lie. I asked a gentleman in line in back of me what he thought of the terrible news.
“My wife and I used to fight over these magazines. I don’t read them anymore!”
“How long have you been married?” I asked him.
“Sixty-two years!”
I forgot to ask him when he quit reading these rags. Forty years ago? We talked about tailormade truths. Today, you can go shopping for the truth that fits you like a pair of pants. He made a joke about his need for suspenders. I told him I run a small newspaper and was upset with Ramos murdering five editors. This stranger concluded;
“People don’t like to hear the truth!”
There it is! He did not say “some people” he said we all don’t want to hear the truth, because more than likely – we have been avoiding the truth. What is the truth? If I am going to go on as a newspaper man, I must seek the truth – no matter what I find!
I am going to make the same offer to Belle Burch I made four years ago.
Belle, I want you to help me finish my autobiography, and be a reporter for this newspaper, Royal Rosamond Press. The last thing we dreamed of happening, is we launch a campaing to destroy each other’s reputation. I am so sorry to see you struggle, even suffer. We are both victims of ‘The Rosemary Curse’. I thought I could trick my mother by getting you, a total stranger, to write about how evil she was, and may still be.
Above is a photograph of Rosemary with my late sister Christine at her home that used to belong to Micky Rooney. In 1992, I showed this photo to my new therapist at our second sesion. This is what she said;
“Your mother is evil!”
I was, taken aback. Gee! That didn’t take long. She took the surprize out of it. I thought it would be two months before I managed to get some of The Evil out, because I am very traumatized by mother’s extreme abuse. She came on sexually to me when I was sixteen. I had to push her away, and fight for my identity she immeshed with my father and her father. She drove me out of my home. I was homeless because of her.
Once a year I would go down to L.A. to visit – my mother! No sooner did I enter he home, she went and got her favorite record out, put it on, then, held out her hands. She demanded a dance. I had to dance with her. My childhood sweetheart was witness to this, and was blown away.
Belle, my best friend killed himself because of Rosemary. He was a beautiful radical artist. You reminded me of him. I said to myself at the Wandering Goat that I get to be with the female version of Bill – to the day I die.
I have been in hypnotherapy. I tend to go into trance when I bring up these matters. No one wants to hear truths like this one – especially when it involves your mother. It was the cover-up that did all the damage. It is very hard to remain objective. I have Monsters of Denial that keep me from The Truth. I want you to – stalk the truth! I want you and I to publish this story. I want much of the proceeds to go to help The Homeless!
I have revealed the lynchpin to the true story of two creative siblings who rose above the destructive darkness – together! There are strangers and parasites who want this lynchpin – to make money for themselves. When you asked me for more “details” of my life story in an e-mail, after you declined to be a co-author, I became suspicious you were another parasite. I had to go public with our meeting. I had not read the evil biography of Christine, yet. I wished I had not. It created a mental health emergency which I dealt with through my doctors.
How can a hired ghost writer say such vile things about anyone’s family, especially when he never knew Dead Christine – or any her family? Wasn’t he worried about getting shot? Would you want to shoot the stranger who PUBLISHED something vile about your dead mother, who was famous in her own right? Would you want to destroy that person?
Bill and Rosemary feared for their lives. Not a day went by when they didn’t think about what my brother and I would do to them – if we found out. Try putting that on for size?
Oh hell! Let’s go see what truths are locked in the Subconscious Hurt Locker. Did your friend John Monroe leave anything – for us? Here is Christine’s painting titled ‘The Crossing’. She told me this is how she dealt with Bill’s death. She had a huge crush on him. There is talk about how is sitting in the back seat. But, I put it to you – who is sitting in the front seat, smoking a cigarette. My sister used herself for a model. She did so in her portrait of ‘Rosemary’.
Twenty minutes past my eighteenth birthday, my dear childhood friend drove on to railroad tracks in Ogden Utah, and tuned off his headlights. He was nineteen. He was a brilliant artist and writer. I have heard a voice buried deep in me say this;
“I wish Rosemary would have killed herself instead of Bill.”
Bill tried to tell me the truth, several times. The last time, he was shaking like a leaf and could not stop. It was the last time I saw him. Did MY MOTHER ever think of taking her life, because she didn’t want to be around, didn’t want to be on the planet, AFTER I figured it out? Imagine being a woman – and my mother. Put yourself in her shoes? You think you got a story? You think THEY have a story? I’ve always owned this story. I have much trouble doing what I just did. I don’t want to quit my newspaper. I love writing.
I can’t get around this tragedy. I can’t get around, you. I struggle everyday to forgive the woman who born me. With every attempt I feel like I am taking a spacewalk, going where no man has been before. I looked for a place I could to hate you! I did not find it.
One of the ways Bill tried to tell me what was going on between he and my mother, was saying he was Lenny, and I was George. Bill was big for his age. At thirteen he was 180 pounds and six foot three. Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’ was our favorite movie. It is a work of fiction. Read it Belle. I’m giving you a chance to write a great California story.
Here is OUR incredible chance to tell the truth – no matter what! Our truth can be very redeeming, which is so important. I have told the hard part. I want our reader to say this when they come to the end;

“His desire to be an artist (fueled by his mother, who suppressed his sister’s talents so he could be the family star, see my post earlier in the thread for the links to demonstrate this) is his way of desperately seeking immortality as he gets closer to death. His fear is dangerous, his illness is dangerous, his bigotry is dangerous. And I’m seeing just three people willing to put up a defense against that danger. And while obviously psychotic and seemingly paranoid as well, he is above all a threat to people in our community.
I’d like to point out the following two quotes from Presco:

“Greg Presco She retreated in this chat. She bid you to protect her. How are you going to do that? She already lost. I am going to immortalize her along with Belle. No one can stop me. They will be famous.”
Anyone acquainted with the subtleties of violent communication can see that Presco entertains death-phantasies regarding Alley and Belle. Every psychotic lone shooter imagines themselves and their target as dual immortalities — here Presco sees Belle and Alley as potential victims that can turn him into an Eternal Name.

John Monroe This man is dangerous. Regardless of whether he intends or would use physical violence, he is being emotional abusive and manipulative. He is clearly mentally ill, but he is also highly intelligent. Based on my research he comes from a family with incredible abuse but also high capacity. This guy isn’t making simple errors. He is a very ill person. But he is also highly abusive, and we should be protecting those who are being targeted. On top of that, I don’t see how this isn’t also a case of male domination. Regardless of his mental space, that is patriarchical BS. Our community should be made aware that he is a threat to young women.”
Character assassination is a deliberate and sustained process that destroys the credibility and reputation of a person, institution, organization, social group, or nation.[1] Agents of character assassinations employ a mix of open and covert methods to achieve their goals, such as raising false accusations, planting and fostering rumours, and manipulating information.
Character assassination is an attempt to tarnish a person’s reputation. It may involve exaggeration, misleading half-truths, or manipulation of facts to present an untrue picture of the targeted person. It is a form of defamation and can be a form of ad hominem argument.
For living individuals targeted by character assassination attempts, this may result in being rejected by their community, family, or members of their living or work environment. Such acts are often difficult to reverse or rectify, and the process is likened to a literal assassination of a human life. The damage sustained can last a lifetime or, for historical figures, for many centuries after their death.
The phrase “character assassination” became popular from around 1930.[2] One of the first mentions of the phrasing in literature is dated 1950 in the collection of essays by Jerome Davis.[3]
Ramos’ grudge against the paper resembled a war of sorts, court documents suggest. On Twitter, he regularly attacked the newspaper, its journalists, editors and the judge that presided over the case. He centered much of his threats against the former reporter who wrote about his harassment conviction, Eric Thomas Hartley, and the retired publisher Tom Marquardt.
Ramos almost regularly posted about wanting members of the staff to kill themselves, hoping the paper would shut down and would repeatedly include the hashtag #CapDeathWatch.
In another post, Ramos makes mention of a shotgun, saying “My bullets are words.” Police say Ramos used a shotgun in the shooting on Thursday.
He also posted multiple times about the 2015 attack at the French magazine Charlie Hebdo, even including photoshopped images of one magazine staff member with a bullet hole in his head and blood on his face. His loathing of the press may not have been just fixed on the Capital. In 2014, he posted his thoughts on the beheadings of James Foley and Steven Sotloff and accused the press of propaganda. “Journalists making a living (literally) by participating in propaganda is nothing new,” he wrote. “Think about it.”

After Watson stabbed Rosemary LaBianca with a bayonet, he handed a knife to Van Houten. She testified to stabbing her in the back at least 14 more times. The blood of the victims was used to scrawl messages on the walls.

Glenn Combs: It is good that this issue, and this individual, are being discussed here, in the public eye. He has managed to keep operating under the radar for years. Maybe now something will be done about him … Hopefully involving proper mental health care. He doesn’t appear to have actually *done* anything beyond stalking and sending creepy messages, but that comes with a huge implied “yet”. I wonder how many women he has obsessed about through the years?”

Glenn Combs: John Presco(e) has a long history of harassing young women in this area. The police seem impotent to do anything about it, though. I believe he comes from money and could be lawyered up quite well if he needed it. Whatever, it is time to take this “man” down.

Glenn Combs: There’s another point – When my friend went into Legal Aid to see about legal representation, she found that Mr. Presco has used the local Legal Aid office so much, it would be a conflict of interest for them do defend anyone against him. That’s kind of the definition of “screwed”, IMHO.

Martin Champion: Everyone reads Alley’s FB, including the dude being discussed, so people need to stop talking like this is private.
I hope there is a way to keep him away from Belle and other women he wants to put in his illustrated fantasies. The fact that he thinks he gets to admonish–shame?–her for not following his orders is a big deal. Who knows what else he thinks he has a right to do.
I’m sure I’m just one of many people who will now watch for this guy in the Whit.

Andrew Cottrell: I think, from his badly outdated photo, that this is the same Jon whom I almost had to get a restraining order against around 4 years ago when he was stalking me at Indra’s Internet Lounge.
Contrary to his statement in his blog, he does not resemble Jesus even visually, not even in his ancient photo.

In Cold Blood is a non-fiction novel[1] by American author Truman Capote, first published in 1966; it details the 1959 murders of four members of the Herbert Clutter family in the small farming community of Holcomb, Kansas.
When Capote learned of the quadruple murder, before the killers were captured, he decided to travel to Kansas and write about the crime.
