John Kelly and his wife Eutrophia drove to Ventura California from Iowa in the car you see above, with their two sons, and, their daughter. Eutrophia had to learn how to drive, because John’s hand were hurting him I assume from the severe head trauma he suffered in WW1. I assume he could not work. This means he threw himself on the mercy of Royal and Mary Rosamond to help feed John and his children. You can see they are hungry. There is a vegetable garden. I do not see any fruit on the trees.
Beryl Buck saw folks like this. This is why she left millions to the poor people of Marin. Did she feel her kindred had not done enough? Look at that house! The back steps are coming down, and there is a huge hole in the screen. John Ford woukd have used this house for his movie ‘The Grapes of Wrath’.

I’m sure John saw the oil wells on Ventura Beach, and got angry at the rich men who owned them. What about the Vet Bonus that was promised him?
John Kelly blew Eutrophia’s head off with a shot gun. What became of his daughter? They say it was because of the metal plate in his head. I believe he was told the Rosamond’s couldn’t afford to feed four more people. There were six of them. That would have been eleven people living in this house, trying to get food to grow on this barren soil.
Some of my readers may think I have it out for the Bucks because they got money, and were all born filthy rich for generations. That’s not it. I see all those children in several Buck Foundations getting a leg-up. Christine didn’t get any help to become a world famous artist. She was hungry many times in her life. She became world famous, and was slimed by the ghost writer anointed by Heisinger, Morris, Rose, and Buck. Our mother was denigrated, and slimed.
How many biographies about famous Carmel Artists exist? This was our shot. This was our success story, and, the Buck family destroyed it. They did this in front of these holy folks. Most of them are our kin. Rosemary bragged on her daughter, Christine. They checked out the first Rosamond webpage. Some lived long enough to read Tom Snyder’s evil book.
Frank H. Buck owned the city of Beverley Hills. The Bucks are famous Huguenots, but, didn’t know it till I wrote it down. I have increased their self-esteem, and, I ain’t done yet. I will make sure, in my book, my kindred are their glaring failure!

Christmas With Eutrophia
I found photographs of my grandmother’s sister, Eutrophia Wieneke, and I noticed my daughter and her look alike. Eutrophia and her cousin, Phillipine, modled, the later when she was fifteen for an artist. Above is a photo of three sisters who became Sisters in the Order of Saint Francis, and their brother, Father John. Eutrophia lived in the Ojai Valley, and her sister, Mary Magdalene Rosamond, in Ventura.
