Last Call For Drunken Bums

Bruce Lee Livingston told me the Marin Community Foundation lost its battle to keep bar closure at 2:00 A.M. What is not discussed is the extra money people will lose to Bar Parasites who prey on women in order to get more booze in them before closing time.  Such was the case with Bill Cornwell and my daughter who ran up huge credit card debt shoveling pricy drinks in a Drunken Bum. All that extra revenue bars will be getting is coming from somewhere! Most drinkers are not rich. Two more hours of drinking will cost the average working woman $50 bucks to make sure her parasite feels like a big man!

After the divorce, Vic did not pay any child support. because, he got no visitation rights due to his brutal violence. On evening my mother parked her Ford Anglia in back of Oscar’s Bar, went around front, and grabbed a wad of twenties that Vic commonly put down in order get his Beloved Barflies drunk. She ran to her car that she left running – and sped off!

That’s Flip toasting my grandson in a bar. He latched on to my daughter’s rich alcoholic aunt, Linda Comstock, who made sure he got all the booze he wanted. She helped kill him. He died of acute alcoholism a couple of months after this photo was taken. Did he have children he was not paying child support to?  Fifty bucks would have fed all four Presco children. We resorted to shop-lifting in order to feed our family.

Heather also contributed to Flip’s death by empowering him over me, the sober one, in her power-play to have the family drunks, rule! She accused me of leaving them out. She didn’t buy it I got sober to save my life, but, got dry in order to be high and mighty, then judge people. Her drunken aunt Linda told her that. She is holding on to my grandson, she wanting him all to herself because she is very insecure, suffering from low-self esteem, because of the extreme abuse she suffered from her father. Her mother killing herself. So, rather than go into therapy, and quit drinking, a innocent six year old child is employed to make it all right for Linda – who is not putting any money away to send Tyler to college. Many children will not be going to college due to the 4:00 A.M. curfew.  Flip, Linda, and Heather taught Tyler how to be a Drinking Man.

“Yes, drinking too much alcohol will cause eye bags. Enjoying a few beers or cocktails once for a while might be just what you need to unwind. However, too much alcohol consumption can amplify under eye bags because it zaps moisture from your skin. Dry skin is weaker and more likely to sink, creating under eye bags. You do not have to cut alcohol out of your diet altogether, but cut back to one drink, followed by some water, to minimize the effects of alcohol on the delicate eye area.”

That last call holler at San Francisco bars is one step closer to being extended to 4 a.m. now that a state bill geared toward boosting city nightlife is on its way to an assembly vote.

Senate Bill 384, otherwise known as the Let Our Communities Adjust Late Night Act, has been passed through the Assembly Governmental Organization committee, and has one more stop before the entire state Assembly puts it to a vote.

The LOCAL Act, if approved, would give individual cities the power to extend alcohol sales hours from California’s current 2 a.m. curfew until as late as 4 a.m.

Senator Scott Wiener, who authored the bill, said in a statement that the act would give cities the authority and flexibility to decide whether or not to extend sales hours.

“California is a large and diverse state, and this bill recognizes that a one-size-fits-all approach to nightlife doesn’t make sense,” Wiener said.

Associations across San Francisco’s tourism industry have come out in support of the bill, including the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, Hotel Council of San Francisco, San Francisco Travel Association, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Bar Owners Alliance as well as Mayor Ed Lee.

Rideshare behemoths Uber and Lyft are also in support of the bill, especially since it requires local governing bodies to ensure sufficient transit options are available in those later hours.

Kevin Carroll, the executive director of the Hotel Council of San Francisco, said extended nightlife hours would help the city compete with most major U.S. metros as well as international destinations. New York, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Louisville and other large cities across the country allow businesses to sell alcohol until 4 a.m.

If passed, the bill would pertain to bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Liquor stores would be excluded from the extended sales period.

The LOCAL Act has two steps to go before becoming a reality — the Senate Appropriation’s Committee, and then a final vote from the state assembly, the latter of which could come as early as September.
