A woman researcher has been trying to find out more about “La Belle Rosemond”. She claims she has spent almost two days googling. No doubt she ransacked this blog, and come upon the Rosamond Family genealogy. Here is how Gottschalk Rosemondt affixed his name to his book. He was the Master of Louvain, and the Falcon Art college. He was a Swan Brethren. He may have known the artist, Bosch.

I am now considering authoring a Historic Romance titled ‘La Belle Rosemond’ which is based upon my theory the two women in the painting by  Labille-Guiard’s “Self-portrait with Two Students” are the Dubarrys, mother and daughter, who worked in the same shop with Labille-Guiard, and were members of a secret society ‘La Belle Rose of the World’.
