Is Krysta Albert Krusty the Klown?

On July 23rd. I mention Marilyn Reed in this blog and the musical I had in mind for over two years. Inspiration Gospel Sounds Choir got a grant from Lane Council of the Arts to put on the Hult show. I called Marilyn while she was on her way to see Shauna. I asked her if she was authoring a biography. She and others read this post.

“One Facebook commenter, Eugene resident Gwendolyn Iris, responded to the controversy by writing: “Let me be clear, the only appropriate response from the Festival of Eugene Planning Committee right now would be a public condemnation of Krysta Albert and an announcement that she has been eliminated from the event. Anything else is (expletive). This condemnation should have happened yesterday afternoon.

I just found out that Gwendolyn Maeve revived Alley Valkyries Kesey Square Revival.
“Hi folks I wanted to share our sister page and the event that in part inspired this page to be born. The Kesey Square Revival was a weekly event that used to be held in the square weather permitting.”
They have removed the  Gwendolyn’s post that is in italics below.

In December, Albert commented on a KEZI news posting after Natriana Shorter won the crown for Miss Oregon. The comment read, “I know this is going to sound racist and it’s not my intention. But I can’t help but think it’s awfully strange that a woman of color would represent (the) state of Oregon. The state that has one of the smallest amount of minorities of any race compared to other states. And yes, she is very beautiful.”

Others have argued that Albert has made similar posts, including longtime Eugene activist Alley Valkyrie who is now in Portland. Valkyrie writes in a public post that “I blocked her after she made very similar racist comments as well as anti-homeless comments on the thread of a mutual friend.”
