The Epistle of Barnabas says the first Christians should hold a supper that celebrates the untying of the red threads that wrap around the scrolls where upon are written the contracts of indentured servitude. Jews from all over the Diaspora spent all they had to make that once in a lifetime sacrifice at the temple that put them in debt, and made them slave to fellow Jews. The true Savior is bidding his followers to invite these foreign Jews to come dine at the home of Jews who live in Judea, for they are brothers and sisters. They are the Lost Sheep.
The first church also took care of widows who made the pilgrimage, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice a lock of their hair so as to complete their Nazarite Vow. This is The Lord’s Prayer and Supper established when the Savior restored the Jubilee on the Mount of Olives…
