I sent a FB message to Jerry Vrzak suggesting the Choir take over the Festival of Eugene after Krysta Albert resigned after her sponsors pulled out when they read she called a black woman a “nigger”. Albert tried to lie her way out of that, then it was pointed out she slimed Miss Oregon, who I suggested should contact Willamalane, and perhaps be the Beauty Queen of the New Celebration. I ran this past Marilyn Reed and Kathy, also, and got no response. When I blogged on it, I got the infamous “whatever it takes” threat.
“We appreciate the work you have done for our choir thru photography and videos, but we DO NOT appreciate nor support you using us for your own personal agenda.”
What exactly does Kathy mean by my “personal agenda”? Marilyn told me her black husband has read this book about the exploitations of King Leopold in Africa, and is very upset. I told M his wife is of the House of Bourbon, and thus is kin to Virginia Hambley.
I reminded M my ancestors fought the Habsburg Empire as German Socialists, and James Rosamond fought the British Empire along side the Swamp Fox. She got angry. She wanted me to be a White Monarchy Man Exlpoiter of the Black Peoples to make HER STORY work for her. Well, I think Jerry Vrzak is the Phantom of the Opera, here, he showing off his big brain and his long study of these RACIST MATTERS, that he applies to his black wife. Interracial Marriages are very complex. Is Jerry keen on proving he is not a exploiter of black people – even thought his white ancestors were?
I explained to Jerry I could only be the Big Idea Guy – in the background – because my reputation had been slimed by SLEEPS advocates. I felt this was such a good idea, I would hate to see it go to waste.
Here is one of the “friends” Kathy swore to protect from me – whatever it takes!
“As a scholar, Dr. Iddrisu’s research interests include West African Music and Dance Practice and Performance, Cultural Studies, Post-Colonial Independence History, Political Economy, Oral History, African Diaspora Studies, and the New Internationalism. He explores new viewpoints on tradition, globalization, and popular culture, looking at the difference in discourse and rhetoric coming from indigenous peoples to the international performance and scholarly community.”
Postcolionalism is an extremely controversial topic that WOULD SCARE AND ALARM millions of white people. Kathy is a hypocrite for going after me because I introduced a controversy. But, what if she was practicing postcolonialism on me, where my Big White Ideas must be rejected, and replaced by the Ideas of a Black Man to make it all come out in the wash? Under this REVERSE RACISM, Marilyn Reed is obligated to ignore my copyrights, not be in my bigoprahy, and transfer My Big White Colonial Power over to the folks my ancestors exploited. Does Marilyn’s sister and her husband go along with this?
Picture a board meeting of all white folks. They are trying to solve a big problem that will make them very rich. A lowly black janitor is mopping the floor and can’t help but listen in. He raises his hand, opens his mouth, and supplies his wealthy bosses with the solution. The next morning, his keys won’t open the doors to the building. He can’t get at his broom and mop. It is hard to believe he has been fired. He goes crazy and becomes homeless.
“We appreciate the work you have done for our choir thru photography and videos, but we DO NOT appreciate nor support you using us for your own personal agenda.”
A woman did not write this! Jerry Vrzak wrote this – WARNING! He is a paranoid lurking in the background, and, he couldn’t read me, couldn’t figure me out, and, I am conversing with Kathy like I know her. He got jealous! Kathy would have asked Marilyn to ask me politely to remove mention of the choir. This is POSSESSIVENESS!

His desire to demonstrate his superior masculinity is linked to obvious male socialization patters. Cf. Oregon Duck rape scandal(s).
Wigger (common spelling wigga) is a slang term for a white person who emulates the perceived mannerisms, language, and fashions associated with African-American culture, particularly hip hop, and in Britain, the grime scene.[1] The term is a portmanteau of white and nigger. The term “nigger” has often been used disparagingly, and since the mid-20th century, particularly in the United States, its usage became unambiguously pejorative and it is viewed as a racist insult.
Leopold fervently believed that overseas colonies were the key to a country’s greatness, and he worked tirelessly to acquire colonial territory for Belgium. Leopold eventually began to acquire a colony as a private citizen. The Belgian government lent him money for this venture.
In 1866, Leopold instructed the Belgian ambassador in Madrid to speak to Queen Isabella II of Spain about ceding thePhilippines to Belgium. However, knowing the situation fully, the ambassador did nothing. Leopold quickly replaced the ambassador with a more sympathetic individual to carry out his plan.[6] In 1868, when Isabella II was deposed as Queen of Spain, Leopold tried to press his original plan to acquire the Philippines. But without funds, he was unsuccessful. Leopold then devised another unsuccessful plan to establish the Philippines as an independent state, which could then be ruled by a Belgian. When both of these plans failed, Leopold shifted his aspirations of colonization to Africa.[6]
After numerous unsuccessful schemes to acquire colonies in Africa and Asia, in 1876 Leopold organized a private holding company disguised as an international scientific and philanthropic association, which he called the International African Society, or the International Association for the Exploration and Civilization of the Congo. In 1878, under the auspices of the holding company, he hired the famous explorer Henry Stanley to explore and establish a colony in the Congo region.[7] Much diplomatic maneuvering among European nations resulted in the Berlin Conference of 1884–1885 regarding African affairs, at which representatives of fourteen European countries and the United Statesrecognized Leopold as sovereign of most of the area to which he and Stanley had laid claim. On 5 February 1885, the Congo Free State, an area 76 times larger than Belgium, was established under Leopold II’s personal rule and private army, the Force Publique.

The debate surrounding the status of settler countries as postcolonial suggests that issues in Postcolonial Studies often transcend the boundaries of strict definition. In a literal sense, “postcolonial” is that which has been preceded by colonization. The second college edition of The American Heritage Dictionary defines it as “of, relating to, or being the time following the establishment of independence in a colony.” In practice, however, the term is used much more loosely. While the denotative definition suggests otherwise, it is not only the period after the departure of the imperial powers that concerns those in the field, but that before independence as well.
The expansiveness of the “postcolonial” has given rise to lively debates. Even as some deplore its imprecision and lack of historical and material particularity, others argue that most former colonies are far from free of colonial influence or domination and so cannot be postcolonial in any genuine sense. In other words, the overhasty celebration of independence masks the march of neocolonialism in the guise of modernization and development in an age of increasing globalization and transnationalism; meanwhile, there are colonized countries that are still under foreign control. The emphasis on colonizer/colonized relations, moreover, obscures the operation of internal oppression within the colonies. Still others berate the tendency in the Western academy to be more receptive to postcolonial literature and theory that is compatible with postmodern formulations of hybridity, syncretization, and pastiche while ignoring the critical realism of writers more interested in the specifics of social and racial oppression.
How did the experience of colonization affect those who were colonized while also influencing the colonizers? How were colonial powers able to gain control over so large a portion of the non-Western world? What traces have been left by colonial education, science and technology in postcolonial societies? How do these traces affect decisions about development and modernization in postcolonies? What were the forms of resistance against colonial control? How did colonial education and language influence the culture and identity of the colonized?

One dictionary defines the term as a slang, derogatory reference to “…a white youth who adopts black youth culture by adopting its speech, wearing its clothes, and listening to its music.”[2] Another dictionary defines the term as “offensive slang” referring to a “…white person, usually a teenager or young adult, who adopts the fashions, the tastes, and often the mannerisms considered typical of urban black youth.”[3]
The term may be considered derogatory, reflecting stereotypes of African-American, black British and white culture (when used as synonym of white trash). Thewannabe connotation may be used pejoratively, implying a failed attempt at cultural appropriation by a white subject. It is also sometimes used in a racist manner by the white culture, not only belittling the person perceived as “acting black”, but also demeaning black people and culture, by proxy. It can also be seen as exploitative by African Amercicans and seen as robbing black culture of the credit for the purpose of the member of the white culture to appear as innovative or edgy at the expense of black culture.
“His desire to be an artist (fueled by his mother, who suppressed his sister’s talents so he could be the family star, see my post earlier in the thread for the links to demonstrate this) is his way of desperately seeking immortality as he gets closer to death. I imagine his belief that Alley wants Belle for herself has something to do with his own erotic phantasies, obviously still running just fine regardless of whether his genitals work. His desire to demonstrate his superior masculinity is linked to obvious male socialization patters. Cf. Oregon Duck rape scandal(s).
His fear is dangerous, his illness is dangerous, his bigotry is dangerous. And I’m seeing just three people willing to put up a defense against that danger. And while obviously psychotic and seemingly paranoid as well, he is above all a threat to people in our community.”
