Noble Oil’s ambition to develop the Leviathan oil and gas fields off Israel got shot down by Judges looking out for the interests of the people who see its oil wells as the Biblical Leviathan I have been battling Noble Oil executive, Lawrence Chazen, who I believe captured my families creative legacy – from behind the scenes – after my sister was “killed by a rogue wave” that crept up on her like a giant monster – or so they say! Chazen was the number one creditor who made a bid to become the executor of the Rosamond legacy after my surviving sister forsake her sacred duty Christine handed her in her Will. Members of my family became shareholders in Dead Rosamond & Company.

“The High Court of Justice decision severely threatens the development of the gas reserves of the State of Israel,” Mr. Netanyahu said in a statement. “Certainly, nobody has any reason to celebrate that the gas is liable to remain in the depths of the sea and that hundreds billions of shekels will not reach the citizens of Israel.”
Mr. Netanyahu also said that Israel was “seen as a state with excessive judicial interference in which it is difficult to do business.”

Who in their right mind would take the risk now? Consequently, Israel will be completely dependent on the Tamar field to the detriment of consumers and its energy security. It will be unable to export gas to its neighbors who negotiated deals in good faith.
The wider implication of the court’s ruling is that foreign investors in every economic sphere will steer clear of Israel altogether. After all, no responsible investor will invest in a country where at any given moment, in contravention of basic democratic norms and practices, unelected judges can be expected to change the rules of the game.
I am a member in good standing of the State Bar of California and an attorney

But what meaneth it, that they place the wool in the midst of the thorns? It is
a type of Jesus set forth for the Church, since whosoever should desire to take
away the scarlet wool it behoved him to suffer many things owing to the terrible
nature of the thorn, and through affliction to win the mastery over it. Thus, He
saith, they that desire to see Me, and to attain unto My kingdom, must lay hold
on Me through tribulation and affliction.”
Almidan petitioned the court to force Regev to reinstate its public funding. Mandelblit decided that her action would not be upheld in court and forced her to reach a deal with the theater to reinstate its public funding. In other words, Mandelblit decided – as a surrogate for the court – that ministers do not have the authority to run their ministries.
This word has become synonymous with any large sea monster or creature. In literature (e.g., Herman Melville‘s Moby-Dick) it refers to great whales, and in Modern Hebrew, it simply means “whale”. It is described extensively in Book of Job
n that day, the LORD will punish with his sword– his fierce, great and powerful sword– Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.

I was re-reading Job 41 today and thinking about Israel … and their recent huge natural gas find less than 100 miles off their coast. They named the find “Leviathan.” Lebanon immediately claimed part of the find, and said that Israel was stealing it out from under them. This is typical behavior, but rather than chalk it up to Middle East tensions, here is a wonderful essay that brings the situation to another level, especially in light of prophecy. We know that a series of devastating battles occur at the end time just prior to the 7-year tribulation: Damascus is destroyed (Isaiah 17), a coalition attacks Israel (Psalm 83) and another coalition attacks Israel (Ezekiel 38-39). The result of all these battles and also unnamed others (Matthew 24:6) is that finally, a peace treaty is signed. It will be a false treaty though, confirmed by the then-unknown Antichrist, who will reveal himself 3.5 years later when He desecrates the newly re-built Third Temple.
In the run-up to these battles and wars, we assume the catalytic event will be on land. After all, Lebanon and Syria have thousands of missiles pointing at Israel now. Israel is rumored to be preparing a strike against Ian’s nuclear facilities. Air space for strike fly-overs has been cleared or denied. Iran has sworn to annihilate Israel. Materiel in the form of missiles and tanks has been constantly in the news in terms of swaps, sales, and technological expertise between and among the Gog-Magog players. However, this essay points out something obvious. Obvious that is, the moment after you read it. The catalyst could start by sea.
In recent years, discoveries by Noble and its Israeli partners, the Delek Group conglomerate, have helped transform Israel from a country heavily dependent on energy imports to one with a growing natural gasindustry. The companies currently operate a field called Tamar, whose gas is used to generate roughly half of Israel’s electricity. Leviathan is twice the size of Tamar.
For many Israelis, however, the benefits of a surging natural gas industry are outweighed by concerns that Noble and its partners were becoming too powerful.
Texas-based Noble Energy is in talks with Israeli institutions to sell an 11 percent stake in Israel’s Tamar natural gas field for at least $1 billion due to cash flow needs, Israeli media reported on Sunday.
The Calcalist and TheMarker, two financial newspapers, said Noble is negotiating with Clal Insurance, Harel Insurance and Finance and Menora Mivtachim but did not cite sources or further details of the talks.
A Noble spokeswoman in Tel Aviv declined to comment.
Noble holds a 36 percent stake and Israeli conglomerate Delek Group holds 31 percent and Isramco Negev 29 percent in the Tamar gas field off Israel’s Mediterranean coast. It contains estimated reserves of nearly 11 trillion cubic feet. Tamar started production in 2013.
Noble in February said it would “monetize” assets – including Tamar – to cope with a slump in oil prices that is eroding cash flows. A more-than 70 percent fall in oil prices since mid-2014 has prompted oil producers to prune portfolios and use proceeds from asset sales to boost liquidity.
Noble and Delek also control the nearby and much larger Leviathan field, which is still undeveloped. Their hold over most of Israel’s natural gas reserves has drawn criticism from public advocacy groups and opposition lawmakers.
As part of a deal signed in December and approved by Israel’s government, Noble was due sell an 11 percent stake in Tamar within six years.
The deal was challenged legally, and last month Israel’s Supreme Court last month barred the government from giving a 10-year guarantee to the companies in order to develop Leviathan.
Noble called the court’s decision “disappointing” and said it risked causing a delay in the $5 billion-$6 billion project to develop the gas field. (Reporting by Steven Scheer; Editing by Raissa Kasolowsky)
