What we have here are armed men who have convinced each other they have received THE TRUE MESSAGE, have all the right information, and are doing this for your own good, and the good of the – Constitution? Say what? Are we talking about the document that didn’t give women the right to vote – and free black slaves?
What they believe they own, that most Americans do not is – PATRIOTISM! If we were as smart as they, we would not be FOOLED! Fooled folks can’t be trusted. For the sake of the Constitution, Fooled Folks may have to be rounded up and taken to The Fooled and Funny Farm. We good humored people are not taking things seriously enough. We think they are a joke. These are not the Merry Pranksters come to put LSD in your tea. These Bearded Bastards will put a bullet in you – for your own good – just like ISIS will! BURNS — A group of armed men from around the Pacific Northwest who arrived at a wildlife refuge on Saturday morning left several hours later after people leading an occupation of the refuge told them they weren’t needed.
Todd MacFarlane, a Utah lawyer acting as a mediator, said occupation leader Ammon Bundy and others were concerned about the perception the armed visitors conveyed.
“This was the last thing in the world they wanted to see happen,” MacFarlane told The Oregonian.
Bundy didn’t request the presence of the Pacific Patriot Network, he said, and has “tried to put out the word: ‘We don’t need you.’ ”
The network, a consortium of groups from Oregon, Washington and Idaho, arrived at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge midmorning in a convoy of about 18 vehicles, carrying rifles and handguns and dressed in military attire and bulletproof vests.
Some of the men told journalists they were there to help with security for the group that has occupied the headquarters of the refuge since Jan. 2.
Their leader, Brandon Curtiss, said the group came to “de-escalate” the situation by providing security for those inside and outside the compound.
One of the original occupiers of the refuge, LaVoy Finicum, said earlier on Saturday that the network’s help is appreciated, but “we want the long guns put away.”
The Oregonian also reported that Joseph Rice, a spokesman for the network, told reporters that his group presented Ammon Bundy and other protesters with “articles of resolution.”
He didn’t say what was in the document, The Oregonian reported, but said his group wants to move the sides to an end to the standoff.
Oregon Public Broadcasting’s Amanda Peacher reported that an armed convoy with the Pacific Patriots Network arrived outside the Harney County Courthouse Saturday afternoon.
Ammon Bundy’s gang finally has the armed confrontation they’ve been preparing for. Just not with whom they were expecting.

As of Saturday evening, a group calling itself the Pacific Patriot Network descended on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, Oregon, just as Bundy’s group was finishing a press conference. According to The Oregonian, Joseph Rice, a spokesman representing the new group of armed men, is presenting the Bundy militia with “Articles of Resolution,” ordering them to end the standoff and return to their homes.
What’s in the document the group presented to Bundy’s gang is unclear, as the Pacific Patriot Network is, so far, refusing to speak to media, citing a “media blackout.”
In the wake of the deadly massacre at an Oregon community college, the controversial Oath Keepers militia group revealed a new plan last week to prevent school shootings, announcing its intention to form college and high school chapters to train students to “fight back.”
In an Oct. 9 statement posted on the group’s website, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and media director Jason Van Tatenhove wrote that the “obvious answer to school shootings on college and high school campuses is that the students must stop submitting and cooperating in their own murders. They must fight back, and we will show them how.”

BURNS — Members of a group from outside Oregon arrived on Friday at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge to “secure a perimeter” around the compound and prevent “a Waco-style situation.”
The arrival of the “3% of Idaho” was the latest development in the situation outside Burns, where an armed occupation of the refuge by an Ammon Bundy-led militant group entered its seventh day.
“They just keep an eye on everything that is going on” to make sure “nothing stupid happens,” Bundy said Friday afternoon outside refuge headquarters.
“If they weren’t here,” Bundy said, referring to the Idaho group, “I’d worry” about a Waco-style siege by federal officials.
The group’s website says it stands for “freedom, liberty and the Constitution. We will combat all those who are corrupt.” The website displays the motto, “When Tyranny Becomes Law, Rebellion Becomes Duty!”
Brandon Curtiss, the president of the 3% of Idaho, would not reveal in a phone interview how many people his group was sending, although a handful of them had already arrived at the bird sanctuary. Some had what appeared to be handguns on their hips. Curtiss said he was on his way to the refuge.
He also declined to reveal specifically whether the group would circle the refuge headquarters or form some other sort of perimeter.
Curtiss and Chris McIntire, another group spokesman, called the situation a “double-edged sword” – the perimeter is meant to protect the occupiers from an outside attack but also to protect the Harney County community from those who arrive in solidarity with Bundy’s cause but may be prone to violence, they said. The Idaho group is here to keep the situation “peaceful” and reassure the community that it isn’t in danger, they said.
McIntire said the majority of the group’s members would be heading for Eastern Oregon on Friday.
Curtiss and McIntire both emphasized that the perimeter would not be military or paramilitary in nature.
The group’s arrival came a few hours after Bundy informed reporters that the militants would not immediately accept Sheriff Dave Ward’s offer to peacefully escort the occupiers out of town.

While those within the Pacific Patriots Network, Idaho 3%, Oregon 3%, COCG, ORTAC, and The Bearded Bastards were not involved with the execution of the peaceful takeover of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge Building in Harney County, Oregon we do agree with the statement that is trying to be made.
Ranchers in the west, specifically Harney County, have been abused by the federal government for decades by means of property use rights, water rights, and other regularly used resources that they have all been restricted from and are fighting to regain.
At this point in time this is no different than a sit in protest at a college. The buildings on the property were unlocked and completely accessible, the property itself was not gated and there were and are not currently any no trespassing signs outside the property. This lays proof that these individuals are simply occupying public property and public buildings.
The actions we are seeing stems directly from the injustices that have been served to the Hammond family. This is a blatant show of frustration from American citizens. Dwight and Steven Hammond are a father and son team of ranchers in Harney County that were convicted of a burn that accidentally spilled onto public land. They served their time for the crime they were convicted of. The problem lies in the fact that the Department of Justice returned a review on the original case that indicated they were not satisfied with the original sentencing and wanted the District Court to go back and re-sentence the Hammonds for a second time two years later. The Hammonds 5th and 8th amendments rights at that time were blatantly disregarded. They have been subjected to punishment for the same crime twice over. This family was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $400k by December 31st, 2015. The stipulation if the restitution was not paid poses another avenue of injustice. There is a piece of land that sits surrounded by the Malheur Wildlife Refuge that the Hammonds own and have owned for decades. They refused to sell the property when the refuge was being established. They were told that if the restitution was not paid by said date that very piece of property would be forfeited and confiscated to the federal government as an alternative for monetary payment.
The organizations involved in this statement implore the public and media sources to publish and promote only facts as this situation develops. There is a very real chance that once again the federal agencies involved will not listen and will do as they wish as they did in cases such as Waco and Ruby Ridge. There needs to be a clear understanding by all those involved that these organizations will not allow this situation to end with any deaths especially in the case of any agencies going into the refuge by force. This can and must be solved peacefully.
