Did you know Biblical Scholars can not come up with the location of ‘The Sermon on the Mount’. Can I guess? Consider ‘The Beatitudes’ and how similar they are the Job 5. where we read;
“Darkness comes upon them in the daytime;
at noon they grope as in the night.”
It stands to reason Jesus was inspired by Job 5. Thus, I conclude Jesus is addressing the multitude on the Mount of Olives where he gave a traditional sermon, and then read from the Book of Ruth. His disciples pretend to fall asleep, and he wakes them throughout the night. He says a written prayer over them. It is the Shavout, the celebration of the New Moon and the giving of the Torah to ‘The Children of God’. I suspect many of these people are foreign converts, thus, what need we of Saul-Paul……anymore?
