The Beautiful Los Angeles Race

According to Jimmy Rosamond, the late actress, Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, is my kin. There are other actresses of Irish descent that constitutes what one historian said about Jessie Benton, he calling her the ‘Mother of the Race of Southern California’.
Liz and Jessie are in the Preston Family tree.

Garth Benton married the actress Harlee McBride. My mother and my aunt Lillian dated Errol Flynn. Rosemary almost married an actor. My grandfather, Royal Rosamond, used to camp on Anacapa with the screen writer, Dashiel Hammet.

It was in Los Angeles that I met my Muse, Rena Christiansen who is a combination of Maureen O’Hara, Gene Tierney, Vivian Leigh, and Elizabeth Taylor.
