In fact, Godfrey de Bouillon, our consummate leader of the first crusade, was according to medieval legend and folklore, descended from Lohengrin, the Knight of the Swan; and Lohengrin, in the Grail romances was the son of Perceval or Parzival, the chief protagonist of all the early Grail stories.”

Lotharingen and Lorraine are the same place.
