Why didn’t Jews and Gentiles wonder if Lazarus was ‘The Son of God’? After all, only gods lived forever, were impervious to death. For asking good question my grandson is taken out of my life and I am called a “parasite” by a drunken lout who is screwing my daughter out of wedlock. He got laid for free, and is out of her life after spending all her money.
“Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death.”
Why wasn’t Lazarus arrested and put on trial, after all, he is playing a hoax on the people of Judea, too! If you are going to convict Jesus of resurrecting the dead, then you want Lazarus’ testimony – before you go after Jesus! Consider the boy blind at birth brought before the chief of priests.
There is no account of Lazarus’ second death, or, what he did after Jesus awoke from the dead, like the saints in Matthew 27:53. What became of these resurrected saints? Were they arrested for performing…
