Jesus & Gandalf vs. ISIS

It is safe to say that the majority of Americans see America’s Savior as a combination of Jesus and Gandalf. Anyone but a black man!

I have lost secular friends who have been hovering about the beliefs they grew up with, they not quite Christians or Atheists. Like most Americans, they like religious truths filtered through the Walt Disney Fantasy Machine where they can access it when they feel like it, when they want to feel good about their time in the sun. What they don’t want is to hear about the beheading in Oklahoma by a crazy Muslim radical, or, a black man is forced to lead a coalition of warriors from the West.
