On March 17, 2014, I posted the following on my other blog ‘Bohemian Democratic Design’. Three days earlier I talked with Kate Young of Windemere Real Estate about some ideas I had about how small people can get involved in real estate for next to nothing. Two days later, that idea had morphed into how We the People can help get Vets into a home for next to nothing – if we little people pool our resources. An hour ago, I heard that Starbucks just gifted Vets thirty million dollars – and is just getting started…..one cup of coffee at a time!
