“Bad enough to wear pink!”

In my novel I began in 1986 ‘The Gideon Computer’ I have Al Davis dress the Oakland Raiders in new pink uniforms with this logo;

“BAD ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK”

Seeing this was a prophetic novel, I came to Eugene on the train and got sober at Serenity Lane. My moniker was ‘Oakland Jonnie’.

When I saw the Oregon Ducks take to the field wearing pink Saturady, I was bowled over!
