The Impossible Riddle of Samson

For many years I have struggled with the riddles that Samson put forth. These riddles have been a yoke put upon my back, and round and round I go like a beast of burden tied to a threshing mill. I have lost everything in my dedication to these riddles. Will I ever own the answer and be set free?

Because I have grown old, and thus my time is short, and because I might collapse from a heart attack on the 18th. green while trying to put a small white ball in a little hole from a long ways off, best I share my progress with the whole world, lest it be lost – for another three thousand years?

Did I not solve the riddle of what Jesus wrote in the dust, and why he cursed the fig tree? That was child’s play when it comes to guessing the name of the angel that appear to Samson’s mother – who is not named – either! There is no genealogy for Samson’s parents, which makes Samson – what?

Then there is the puzzle over why the tribe of Judah bound Samson and turned him over to the Philistines where he was turned into a slave. Why didn’t Judah sell Samson to the Philistines for thirty pieces of silver – at least? Samson could do the work of ten men!

Some Christian scholars say the Jews turned Jesus (Judah) over to the Romans (Philistines) to be crucified – after Judas received thirty coins for betraying Jesus to the priesthood that was kin to him. This is almost a Samson story, but, the priests are not looking to drive the Romans out of Judea. Apparently Jesus had no such ambition, either. But, that fits, because the tribe of Judah were vassals of the Philistine Kings who ruled over them – as King David was a vassal later one. It can be said David delivered Saul and his son Jonathan over to the Philistines.

Then there is the mystery of Judas and his betrayal. Jesus’enemies knew who he was and where he was. Judas was not needed to point him out. What I put forth is this theory: Jesus gave his favorite disciple coins to buy back the threshing floor where Boaz met Ruth, for the temple was built over this mill. Was it same mill that Samson was put to work in, as a prisoner-slave to hostile Gentiles?

Why didn’t God punnish Judah for being allied to kings who worshipped foreign gods? Why did the men of Judah think the Philistines would attack them – their loyal vassals – when they went after Samson?

“11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us?”

Consider the two pillars of the temple and the capstone that would come down if these pillars were pushed apart. Hiram the Phoenician built a temple for Solomon guarded by two pillars. The Freemasons honor Hiram. My Masonic kindred forced the Habsburgs out of Mexico, and thus the Papacy’s plans for North America was thwarted. The Pope was in Cuba yesterday, trying to get power back for his church. The coat of arms of Charles Quint von Habsburg, contains the Pillars of Hercules. Charles invaded Mexico and stold the gold of native americans that was later used to launch a Holy War against the Protestant Queen of England. My ancestor escorted Charles when he came to Holland.

Some Christians claim the tribe of Dan is from where the anti-Christ will come. And they will be Freemasons. Samson was a Danite Judge, and a Nazarite like myself. Philistine have captured my six year old grandson as the Judges of the Supreme Court deliberate over healthcare.

Once I was a blind wretch, a slave to alcohol. But now, I can see – into the future!

Jon the Nazarite

9 Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.
10 And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
12 And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
13 And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
