Cardinal Dolan and The Da Vinci Code

Bishop Timothy Dolan went to Jeruaslem in January, and was made a Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem

Above we see Dolan wearing the cote of arms of the Brienne family who were the Crusader Kings and Queen of Jerusalem, a heriditary title, meaning there was fornicating going down and the birth of children who were allowed to wear the Jerusalem Cross as a family cote of arms.

Dolan’s parents are not kindred to the Brienne line. Dolan ‘The Virgin’ wears their cote of arms because the virginal Pope wanted him to. That Dolan is at the head of the Crusade against the Powerful President of the United States and his party, plays right into the hands of Dan Brown and other authors, who claim Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married in a royal way, and born a child that begot the Grail Rose Line.

Because there is no evidence that Jesus was a virgin whose intent was to establish on earth a Lineage of Holy Virgins to rule over man and womankind, the Priory de Sion heresy is a great threat to the Vatican Shah who sees himself as ‘The King of Kings’.

There is evidence that the Freemasons opposed the rule of the Catholic Shah in America, in the persons my Benton-Fremont kindred, who are the historical parents of the Republican Party that has been taken over and corrupted by the Christian-right who invented a false crusade over abortion in order to reverse the progress of the Civil Rights Movement that empowered white and black folks alike, because it was a Peasant’s Revolt. No Pope has ever backed a Peasant’s Revolt, but sent Papal troops to crush such a thing, because Democratic Rule always came with.

Grand Master Dolan claims the pro-life movement is the greatest Civil Rights Movement of our time! He lies in order to demonize my fellow Americans who comprise a Two Party System that is vital to the well-being of this Democracy. There is no Democratic master plan to murder the unborn – just for kicks! Pro-Abortion Laws were made the law of the land in order to give each woman a better and safer choice then going to a covert abortionist.

Grand Master Dolan hopes the Papal Edict will cause Catholics to vote the Republican ticket, and be in accord with the Southern followers of John Darby who invented the evangelical cult in 1830. Darby’s Demon gave sermons to Confederate Traitors bidding them to take up arms against the Federal Government made up of non-virgins who came to hold office in a non-holy way!

Above we see Dolan’s cote of arms that his children will not inherit, unless they are children begot by the Holy Ghost in a invisible fantastic manner! Unbelievable! There are two genealogies of the Jubilee Jesus in the Bible. Many Christians believe Jesus is God.

Shah or shahanshah (“King of Kings”) was the title of Persian emperors or kings. It includes rulers of the first Persian Empire, the Achaemenid dynasty, who unified Persia and created a vast intercontinental empire, as well as rulers of succeeding dynasties. The title was also extensively used later by emperors of the Indian subcontinent, including those of the Mughal Empire. For instance, the third Mughal emperor, Akbar the Great (1542–1605), was formally known as “Shahanshah Akbar-e-Azam”.

The kings of Georgia called themselves shahanshah alongside with their other titles. The last such monarch was Irakli II, who in 1783 adopted Russified titles instead, due to the influence of Imperial Russia.

Cardinal-designate Timothy M. Dolan, Archbishop of New York and President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is on pilgrimage in the Holy Land with 50 priests of his Archdiocese. The group made the formal entry to the Holy Sepulcher on Monday, January 30th, and was later welcomed to the Latin Patriarchate by His Beatitude, Patriarch Fouad Twal.

Archbishop Dolan is a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher and the Grand Prior of the Equestrian Order’s Lieutenancy in New York. He and seven other Priests-Knights made a solemn entry to the Holy Sepulcher and were received by the Franciscan Friars who are custodians of many holy sites in the Holy Land for centuries. They prayed at the tomb of Christ.

Shortly after, His Beatitude Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem welcomed and received the pilgrims to the Patriarchate. “I am pleased to be here (in the Holy Land) ,” said Archbishop Dolan. For here, “we remember that we belong to the Church of the Resurrection,” he added.

The Patriarch spoke to them about the situation of the Church and Christians in the Holy Land. He answered their many questions. The Patriarch then presented the pilgrim shells to Archbishop Dolan and the other members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher from the group.

The Patriarch presented Archbishop Dolan with a gift – an icon of Our Lady of Jerusalem with the inscription “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, you who love her” from Psalm 121. At the end of the meeting, the Patriarch invited the pilgrims to pray the “Our Father” together, in the spirit of the call to prayer in Psalm 121.

Archbishop Dolan will be elevated to the dignity of Cardinal on February 18th by Pope Benedict XVI, including Archbishop Edwin F. O’Brien, Pro-Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem

The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (lat.: Ordo Equestris Sancti Sepulcri Hierosolymitani, OESSH) is a Roman Catholic order of knighthood under the protection of the pope. It traces its roots to Duke Godfrey of Bouillon, principal leader of the First Crusade.[1] In 1496, Pope Alexander VI created the office of Grand Master of the Order, and the office vested in the papacy. The office of Grand Master remained vested in the papacy until 1949. Since then a cardinal has been grand master. The Pope is sovereign of the Order, and it enjoys the protection of the Holy See and has its legal seat at Vatican City.

In 1489, Pope Innocent VIII suppressed the Order and ruled that it was to be merged with the Knights Hospitaller. In 1496, Pope Alexander VI, restored the Order of Holy Sepulchre to independent status. Alexander VI decreed that the Order would no longer be governed by the office of custodian and further decreed that the senior post of the Order would henceforth be raised to the rank of Grand Master, reserving this title for himself and his successors.[3]

[edit] Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem
Pius IX re-established the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem in 1847 and re-organized the Order. Pius X ordained that the Order’s cape or mantle, as worn by the original knights, be a “white cloak with the cross of Jerusalem in red enamel.” Pius X assumed the title of Grand Master. The title of Grand Master is now held by a cardinal of the Roman Curia who is resident in Rome at the Palazzo della Rovere, the 15th century palace of Pope Julius II, immediately adjacent to the Vatican. It serves as the Order’s international headquarters.
There are several grades of knighthood, and except for the highest grade, these are open to both men and women:
Knight of the Collar
Knight / Dame Grand Cross (KGCHS / DGCHS)
Knight / Dame Commander with Star (KC*HS / DC*HS)
Knight / Dame Commander (KCHS / DCHS)
Knight / Dame (KHS / DHS)
In some jurisdictions the term “Lady” is used rather than “Dame”. There is also an award of merit and those knights and ladies making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land receive the Pilgrim’s Shell from the Latin Patriarch. The Vatican Secretariat of State, in the pope’s name, approves all knighthoods and officially seals each diploma of appointment.
In ecclesiastical heraldry, the Order of the Holy Sepulchre is one of only two Orders whose insignia may be displayed in a clerical coat of arms. (Laypersons have no such restriction.) Knights and Ladies of the Order display their arms in the badge of the order, while Knights and Ladies of the rank Grand Cross surround their shield with a ribbon. Other ranks place the appropriate ribbon below the shield and may also display the red Jerusalem cross behind their shield. In the territory of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, reinstituted in 1847, the Franciscans have 24 convents, and 15 parishes.[4]
The Order is now primarily honorific. Its principal mission is to reinforce the practice of Christian life by its members in absolute fidelity to the Popes; to sustain and assist the religious, spiritual, charitable and social works of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land; and to conserve and propagate the faith in the Holy Land and the rights of the Catholic Church there. As it is a papal honor aspirant members must be practicing Catholics of good character, recommended by their local bishop with the support of several members of the Order, and are required to make a generous donation as “passage money” (echoing the ancient practice of crusaders paying their passage to the Holy Land) as well as an annual financial offering for works undertaken in the Holy Land. There is a provision for the Grand Master to admit members by motu proprio in exceptional circumstances and also for the officers of the Grand Magistery to occasionally recommend candidates to the Grand Master.[5]

In 1496, Pope Alexander VI created the office of Grand Master of the Order, and the office was vested in the papacy. The office of Grand Master remained vested in the papacy until 1949.[2] Since that time, the following cardinals have held the office:
On 29 August 2011, the Most Reverend Edwin Frederick O’Brien was appointed Pro-Grand Master by Pope Benedict XVI, succeeding John Cardinal Foley, who resigned the office in February 2011, due to ill health and reaching the age of 75, at which age all bishops must offer their resignation to the Pope. [6] Archbishop O’Brien is to be made a cardinal in February 2012.

From 1480 to 1495, there was in Jerusalem a German knight of the Holy Sepulchre, John of Prussia, who acted as steward for the convent and regularly discharged this act reserved to knighthood. It was also of frequent occurrence that a foreign knight, present among the crowds of pilgrims, would assist at this ceremony. However, in default of other assistance, it was the superior who had to act instead of a knight, although such a course was deemed irregular, It was since then also that the superior of the convent assumed the title of Grand Master, a title which has been acknowledged by various pontifical diplomas, and finally by a Bull of Benedict XIV dated 1746.

On January 24, 2012, Dolan went on a religious pilgrimage to the Holy Land, where he met Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal and various other Orthodox patriarchs[1][2]. On January 6, 2012, the Holy See announced that Dolan was to be elevated to the Cardinalate by Pope Benedict XVI. On February 12, 2012, Dolan traveled to Rome and is presently preparing for his Cardinalate rites scheduled for February 18, 2012 at Saint Peter’s Basilica.

he storyline for Angels & Demons, which stars Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor, centres on a plot by the Illuminati, a secrety society of intellectuals, who are intent on gaining revenge for a brutal massacre of their predecessors by the Church centuries ago. Although the society once existed, there is no historical evidence that its members were butchered by Catholics.
The Rt Rev Malcolm McMahon, the Bishop of Nottingham, warned that the film could stir up anti-Catholic sentiment.”This is so outlandish, it’s total rubbish,” said Bishop McMahon, who is one of the Church’s most senior bishops. “It’s mischievous to stir up this kind of anti-Catholic sentiment. It’s a gratuitous knocking of the Church and I can’t see any reason for it.”
Ron Howard, the director of Angels & Demons – expected to become the first blockbuster film of the summer when it is released this month – has fired back that Catholics will enjoy the movie, which is based on a previous novel by The Da Vinci Code’s author, Dan Brown.
His comments will intensify a feud between some prominent Catholic leaders and the Da Vinci Code team over claims that the film smears the Church.
The bishop, who chairs the Church’s Department of Evangelisation and Catechesis, said that Catholics were “getting tired” of the sensational stories and plotlines contained in Brown’s novels and subsequent film adaptations. “I don’t think that Catholics will be interested in seeing this as it’s so far removed from the truth,” he added.

Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem

That is why Mark Shea and Ted Sri — an apologist and theology professor, respectively — have co-authored “The Da Vinci Deception”, a guide that reveals the fact and fiction behind “The Da Vinci Code.”

Shea shared with us the main inaccuracies in the “Code” book, and why they threaten the faith of Christians.

Q: What compelled the writing of this book?

Shea: The short answer is that tens of millions of people have read “The Da Vinci Code” and many have had their faith in Christ and the Catholic Church shaken. This blasphemous book has become a major cultural phenomenon, largely by attacking the very person and mission of Jesus Christ. It must be addressed.

The longer answer is that “The Da Vinci Code” has become the source for what I call “pseudo-knowledge” about the Christian faith.

Pseudo-knowledge is that stuff “everybody knows,” such as the “fact” that Humphrey Bogart said “Play it again, Sam” — except he didn’t. Pseudo-knowledge doesn’t matter much when the issue is the script of “Casablanca.”

It matters greatly when it adversely affects the most sacred beliefs of a billion people, and when it levels the charge that the Catholic Church is essentially a vast “Murder Incorporated” network founded on maintaining the lie of Jesus’ divinity and resurrection.

When that happens, very nasty genies get let out of bottles, as when the lies recorded by 19th-century czarist secret police forgers in the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” became the basis for what “everybody knew” about the Jews in the terrible anti-Semitic persecutions of the 20th century.

“The Da Vinci Code” has sold close to 30 million copies. In May, it will appear as a major film and will acquire even more unquestioned authority among millions of historically and theologically illiterate viewers — unless Christians state the facts and help viewers recognize just how badly they’ve been had.

The Da Vinci Outreach initiative, led by Catholic Exchange and Ascension Press, will equip Catholics and all people of good will with resources to help them respond to this movie.

Those who say, “It’s just a story,” simply do not understand that this deception is part of the book’s power. People often receive through fiction what they would be on guard against in reasoned debate.

And this is particularly true as Dan Brown, the author of “The Da Vinci Code,” has actually stated he would not change any of his basic assertions if he were writing nonfiction. Brown means for us to understand that his claims about the origins are Christianity are true.

Q: What are the main inaccuracies found in the “The Da Vinci Code”?

Shea: Let me count the ways. Blunders include factual errors and outright lies, large and small, about practically every subject Brown addresses in art, history and theology. He purports that bogus documents that even his questionable sources repudiate are factual.

He claims Leonardo Da Vinci doesn’t give Jesus a chalice in his painting “The Last Supper” in order to hint that Mary Magdalene is the true chalice who held the “blood of Jesus” — i.e., his child — despite the fact there are 13 cups in the painting.

He chatters about the meaning of an Aramaic word in the Gnostic gospel of Philip, oblivious to the fact it’s written in Coptic.

He calls Mary Magdalene the victim of a Catholic smear campaign without pausing to wonder why she’s a Catholic saint.

He blames “the Vatican” for various plots and conspiracies that are alleged to have taken place centuries before there was any Vatican to plot them.

And, of course, in the biggest lie of them all, he declares that nobody before the year A.D. 325 thought of Jesus as anything other than a “mortal prophet” until Constantine muscled the Council of Nicaea into declaring him God “by a relatively close vote.”

Of course, he does not stop to ask why, if Jesus was just a “mortal prophet,” he bothered founding a Church at all — nor what the Church was about for the first 300 years if nobody was worshipping Jesus as God.

Q: How do these inaccuracies challenge the Church, her teachings and the person of Jesus Christ?

Shea: Brown is attempting to establish a neo-pagan feminist creation myth. The basic myth is: Jesus was actually a feminist, agog for neo-paganism. The Church supposedly covered up all this with lies about his divinity. Brown’s point here is: Let’s get back to goddess worship as Jesus intended.

This laughably baseless claim is, of course, utterly contrary to the facts about Jesus. But many in our overly credulous and historically …

biographical and/or anecdotal:
One of the most heroic and valiant of kings of the Fifth Crusade.
JOHN OF BRIENNE, French JEAN DE BRIENNE (b. c. 1148–d. March 1237, Constantinople), count of Brienne who became titular king of Jerusalem (1210-29) and Latin emperor of Constantinople (1231-37).
A penniless younger son of the French count Erard II of Brienne and Agnes of Montbéliard, John passed most of his life as a minor noble until befriended by King Philip II Augustus of France, who arranged for him to marry Mary (Marie) of Montferrat, queen of the crusader state of Jerusalem, in 1210. John reached the Palestinian town of Acre on Sept. 13, 1210, married Mary the following day, and was crowned at Tyre on October 3. Mary died in 1212, and John was named regent for their infant daughter, Yolande de Brienne, who inherited the crown as Isabella II. In 1214 John married Princess Stephanie of Armenia, daughter of the Armenian king Leo II, and later had a son by her.

As regent, John arranged a five-year truce with al-Malik al-‘Adil, sultan of Egypt and Syria, in July 1212, and during the truce he persuaded Pope Innocent III to launch the Fifth Crusade in support of his daughter’s kingdom. In 1218 he joined the crusading force from the West in an expedition against the Egyptian port of Damietta. After quarrelling with the crusade leader, the cardinal legate Pelagius, John left Egypt in February 1220, returning in July 1221 to witness the humiliating defeat of the crusaders and the abandonment of the siege of Damietta.

Stephanie died in 1219; John then married Berengaria, daughter of Ferdinand III of Castile, and in 1225 gave his daughter Isabella in marriage to the Holy Roman emperor Frederick II, trying to retain his rights as regent of the kingdom of Jerusalem. Immediately following the marriage, however, Frederick began to contest these rights.

In 1228 John was invited to Constantinople to be regent and co-emperor with the young Baldwin II and arranged a match between Baldwin and his four-year-old daughter by Berengaria. Crowned in 1231, John helped fend off attacks by the Bulgarian tsar Ivan Asen II and the Nicaean emperor John III Vatatzes, but shortly before his death he was forced to appeal to the West for help.
