Emergence Of The White People

At 4:00 A.M. I was tricked into watching a video about a lost tribe. A man appears doing his thing in the jungle.

“Wait a minute! That’s a white dude!”

Seven hours from now, the world will learn that millions of white Americans are overjoyed the Russians helped defeat the Democrats, because, now they can come out of hiding. White people are the lost race. They are a backward, superstitious people, who have a great disdain for society and big city life. They only want to be around people who belong to their tribe.

Brave Beatrice almost betrayed her tribe the other day. She came out off hiding to try her luck at making a law now that she does not serve the people as the Slug Queen, and Whoville Legal High Wiccan Priestess. The was made aware she was oppressing a human belief system. I think she was aware a lot of Aryan Neo-Nazis see themselves as Pagans and Wiccan, and employ Earth Magic Rituals. As it turns out, I belong to Huerto de la Familia, a fact I have hidden for five years lest the Alleybelle Gang know about it, and post my WANTED poster on my plot, and get me evicted. This goes for the Kimites. This year, as I turned the soil, I decided to have a Coming Out Celebration, and post pics of my garden. I actually want to have something in common with Belle Burch – for the first time!

Yesterday a family came to The Garden and gave me a hardy “Hello!” After Trump’s Tribe put a Mass Bounty on the head of Chicanos, it was good for them to be a part of White Society, and have a member of The White Tribe walk freely among them, doing what they do, being happy – and like them! My garden is my therapy.

There is a connection between the groups that stood with Council Person, Emily Semple, and the Latino group that marched on the campus of Oregon State University who successfully got the name of my kindred removed from a building. I thought about my garden when I composed my long-winded letters. These Latinos are going to help Ed’s Historians rewrite White History – my history! Will this solve – THE PROBLEM?

THINK SWING VOTERS

If you do not want Trump to serve another four years, people of color, and other oppressed minorities, are going to have to provide a forum for white people to say why they feel oppressed by people who are not like them. The fight I got into with Belle Burch, was in response to her not telling me – who she is! When was she going to tell me she was a Anarchist Wiccan Grower, and introduce me to her friends?

My Letter to Ed Ray

In folkloristics, folk belief or folk-belief is a broad genre of folklore that is often expressed in narratives, customs, rituals, foodways, proverbs, and rhymes.[1] It also includes a wide variety of behaviors, expressions, and beliefs. Examples of concepts included in this genre are magic, popular belief, folk religion, planting signs, hoodoo, conjuration, charms, root work, taboos, old wives’ tales, omens, portents, the supernatural and folk medicine.[2]

Folk belief and associated behaviors are strongly evidenced among all elements of society, regardless of education level or income. In turn, folk belief is found in an agricultural, suburban, and urban environments alike.[3]

For five years my fellow latino grow buddies wondered what the Gringo was doing here.

Marissa Garcia speaks about the need for a resolution condemning white supremacy in Eugene.

The Eugene City Council narrowly passed a resolution condemning white nationalism and alt-right activities and groups. The final vote was 4 to 3.

Among those in opposition were councilors Betty Taylor, Mike Clark, and Emily Semple.

Semple, a member of the Human Rights Commission introduced the resolution. But she changed her stance after Councilor Clark openly questioned the language of denouncing a “belief.”

“My problem with that is a different council one day, made up of different people, made up of people with different beliefs and we’re saying this is the official belief. The city of Eugene, that we condemn people who hold this belief,” Clark said.

Semple then withdrew her support for the resolution. Clark said he’s not comfortable with taking away the right of others to hold their own beliefs. His attempt to amend the resolution to remove the wording was voted down.

The vote comes after 2 letters were sent by over 30 organizations and business calling for the city to denounce white supremacy. Both letters acknowledged Eugene as an “open and welcoming city,” but called for stronger political condemnation of white supremacy and bigotry.

It also asked for better recognition of historical racism, including the presence of the Ku Klux Klan.

“Words really can help people feel safer if they see a commitment from the city to protecting them and creating safe spaces so that families aren’t living in fear,” said Marissa Garcia. She represented Huerto de la Familia and the Latinx Alliance of Lane County at a press conference Monday morning. Both organizations signed the letter along with 24 other groups.

Garcia said people often think resolutions are just words, but for marginalized communities, it can have significant weight.

“Families can focus on preserving their culture and spending time with their families and not having to worry about whether if they go out in public they’ll be safe,” Garcia said.

Both Mayor Vinis and Councilor Emily Semple were present during the press conference Monday morning. Mayor Vinis told KLCC that in addition to condemning white supremacy, the resolution embraces the history of minorities, peoples of color, the LGBTQ community and people from various religions.

“One of the actions is calling on the city to move forward and create a narrative [to] improve the historical record about the contributions of minorities within our community,” Vinis said.

A separate letter was signed by 11 local businesses in support of the resolution. The letter says businesses owned by women, people of color, and immigrants have been the targets of neo-Nazi graffiti and harassment.

At least one of the businesses that signed onto the letter had their storefront vandalized on June 12, when multiple Swastikas were found spray-painted on downtown businesses, sidewalks, and benches. No arrests have been made in connection with the graffiti.

I had a dream last night that Bill Arnold was alive, and had hooked up with my black artist friend, Michael Harvey, and they were going fishing in the Oakland Estrary. Bill invited me to come along, but, I was hurt that he had taken my friend from me. I awoke realizing Michael is dead. Will I plant a garden in the spring. https://rosamondpress.com/2019/07/24/wee-willy-and-mo-love-chicken-2/
