“Where are you and Bill getting the money to drink at bars? You have a child to support!”
I copied some of the dialogue that my grandson, Tyler Hunt, hears almost every day. He is six in these photos. Flip is wearing the orange shirt, and is Linda Comstock’s boyfriend. Flip was reluctant to shake my hand when we first met after learning I was Heather’s father. He gave me a limp shake, did not make eye contact, and did not give me his name when I asked. Upon learning there would be no alcohol at the sober family gathering at Vicki’s, Flip was beside himself, he telling me you got to have beer, because,
“It get’s real hot here!”
This is true! This is why everyone has air conditioners. Cooling down by drinking a shit-load of beers, only gets you drunk, not cool! Why do I know this? Let’s ask Linda, Heather’s aunt, who breaks my anonymity by telling her boyfriend;
“John’s in AA.”
The Look on Flip’s face – was priceless! This was a real hallmark moment. Right then I looked for a way to un-invite Flip and Linda. I knew the drinkers would bunch together. I understood Flip would be real glad to meet Bill Cornwell, because he has a store-bought bar in his house where he lives with my offspring who own a genetic trait to become alcoholics, through me. Both my parents were alcoholics, as were their four children. I have grave concerns, and am not just getting mad for no reason as Heather suggests. Tyler’s real father was not there when my grandson was born, he out getting drunk with his buddies. He did not want a child, because he grew up taking care of his mother’s children from several marriages. Ryan Hunt’s father wants nothing to do with his son, meaning, I WAS the only grandfather there for Tyler.
Above is my family in front of Vicki’s house in Bullhead City. None of us are holding beers in our hand – getting cool.
I did not go public with these folks drinking problem – they did! For Heather to refuse to serve as my Trustee, after she signed an agreement, is proof there is a real problem here!
Jon Presco
He is loved by not only me but Tyler and the rest of my family. We are living a very happy and healthy life together and anyone who has spent time with us will agree. I might consider other wise if others were observing what you do but that is not the case. No one but you seems to think we are raging abusive alcoholics. You have made many untrue accusations about me and many others and it is just not right. How can you be trusted?
LOL u were SO funny last night, good to see someone who really makes Billy Happy!!! Hope u dont have to bad of a hangover this am. 😉

Heather Hanson We did have a blast. Tyler fell asleep in the grand stands during the modifieds but didn’t miss much. They got 11 laps in before they were red flagged for like the fifth time. Then curfew hit and they threw up the checkered flag and the race was over.

Understanding alcoholism and alcohol abuse
Alcoholism and alcohol abuse are due to many interconnected factors, including genetics, how you were raised, your social environment, and your emotional health. Some racial groups, such as American Indians and Native Alaskans, are more at risk than others of developing alcohol addiction. People who have a family history of alcoholism or who associate closely with heavy drinkers are more likely to develop drinking problems. Finally, those who suffer from a mental health problem such as anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder are also particularly at risk, because alcohol may be used to self-medicate.
Since drinking is so common in many cultures and the effects vary so widely from person to person, it’s not always easy to figure out where the line is between social drinking and problem drinking. The bottom line is how alcohol affects you. If your drinking is causing problems in your life, you have a drinking problem.
Do you lose time from classes due to drinking?
Do you drink because you are uncomfortable in social situations?
Do you drink to build up your self confidence?
Is drinking affecting your relationships with friends?
Do you drink alone?
Do you drink to escape from studies or home worries?
Do you feel guilty or depressed after drinking?
Does it bother you if someone says that maybe you drink too much?
Do you have to take a drink when you go out on a date?
Do you get along better with other people when you drink?
Do you get into financial troubles over buying liquor?
Do you feel more important when you drink?
Have you lost friends since you started drinking?
Do you drink more than most of your friends?
Have you started hanging around with a crowd that drinks more than your old friends?
Do you drink until you just couldn’t drink anymore?
Have you ever had a complete loss of memory from drinking?
Have you ever been to a hospital or been arrested due to drunken behavior?
Do you turn off to any studies or lectures about drinking?
Do you think you have a problem with alcohol?
